Ediblez
http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/901/901997p1.html just found this out ... its all there RS is only making this biker theme content to wage a personal vendetta on their former employees trying to wipe them off the map.. which they probably will.!! Darkgamr
Use your brain, they wouldn't go through all this trouble to get back at some employees who were fired for doing a bad job, and who are probably going to make a flop with road to hell(or whatever its called). Plus bikers are one of the few groups that hasn't been focused on in previous GTAs

Algonquin Assassin
This makes absolutely no sense. Why would R* create this content in order to get back at former employees?

AnotherDave
From what I know of Ride to Hell, it looks like it could be good. It's on my 'to rent' list at the moment so I'll give it a shot when it's released.
Magic_Al
Grand Theft Auto IV and the plan for exclusive 360 DLC was announced May 9, 2006. Rockstar Vienna was shut down May 11, 2006 in the middle of their work on Manhunt 2, which was not credited. Since they were busy with that I doubt they were working on a biker game. ~Nico~
Ya, I heard about some first impressions bout' a year ago, thought it was interesting considering how brutal the movie was. Did he say he's getting advice or something from Hunter S. Thompson? That should count for something on the ideas and what not. I'm sure it should be banned in Australia though for the hooker thing and one pic that looked like you can take shrooms or acid or something. If you go to IGN Ride to Hell on google it should take you to a page where you can see the screenshot with a couple others, tried posting it but it wasn't showing it. But anyway my opinion is TLAD will own this game just because of the euphoria engine and graphics alone. Ride to hell looks like a PS2 game. chngdman
That sh*t looks So boring. Let's hope the whole map isn't a boring ass waste of space, eh? And lets hope it improves as it comes out of alhpa... It really really looks boring. The map will probably stay ass boring because it's the sixties, and the game will suck because they are already thinking of the sequel... They figure it will be faster to build the past, get paid, then make the present (or work their way up in decades) (much like Liberty makes mny generics, Vice adds a bunch of tropical plants, now you have a whole pre-made kit and just a few cactus and desert stuff to add for SA... same idea, with a twist - smart development, pretty ass looking though... I hope they are only being conservative with what they show, I hope there is an actual place to go...) Edited February 3, 2009 by chngdman

What world do you live in? haha man your smart. if you look into it rock * promised the fans DLC and all im saying is for them its a perfect opportunity give you whiny kids DLC but to also and more importantly make sure their former employees have no success in the game industry by making a biker theme dlc because they knew that was their former programers new game concept... if you dont get that dude... i cant help you lol
AnotherDave
As IV, TL&D and the second DLC were all written at the same time, what you're suggesting is impossible. If there was any copying of ideas then it's the guys who got sacked from Rockstar Vienna who are copying TL&D.
Ediblez
yea but your just basing that on what someone told you, you really have no idea who wrote what, or when.
AnotherDave
What? Nobody's told me anything. It's obvious it was all written at the same time because all the storylines tie in and the DLC was planned from the start, when Microsoft paid for it. Rockstar Vienna had nothing to do with the development of IV, they were working on Manhunt 2. Do you really think that a couple of guys at R* Vienna were telling everyone at Rockstar worldwide that they have this idea for a biker game? Not only that, but after they told everybody, they got sacked and the powers that be though 'By golly, these chaps might blow us out of the water with their fantabulous biker game idea, what the devil shall we do? Fetch the notepad, Danny boy, we've got to get their plan down verbatim!' It's a ridiculous notion, the idea holds no water whatsoever.
Rick234
Fetch the notepad, Danny boy, we've got to get their plan down verbatim!' Amazing! Even if Ride to Hell was 'thought of' first (which is highly unlikely), TLAD is going to be f*ckin awesome and R2H will be rentable at best. chngdman
I am quite sure it is the other way around. True Crime/True Grime? Yea, that was because former employees STOLE the LA idea, hence they are grimey. If anything, these people knew of lost and the damned and made this game to coincide and try to ride off of rockstar's tail, not the other way around. R* couldn`t love me more if it was caressing my balls and had its tongue in my ear. Freaking awesome, I posted a screenie on the IV forum yesterday but thanks Nico for posting the site, it`ll alert others as well.
