RE:DLC next protaganist?

I did this poll in the TLAD section and im doing a proper one here. Im gonna detail out each character on why he could be the next protaganist and why he could not.

 

These characters appeared in the Single Player story:

Luis

Gordon

Badman

Little Jacob

Packie

Kenny Petrovic ( appeared in Multi Player )

Niko (...of course)

 

These characters however were mention in the LCPD database:

Sonny Botino

Jon Gravelli Jr

Claude Wome

 

And these characters are just some fun in my thoughts:

A zombie...

 

 

Here are my thoughts for each of the characters

 

Luis

Why he is: Must I say why he isnt our nxt DLC protaganist? He appeared as many times as Johnny. Niko was talking with Roman about him on the phone. Bulgarin seems to know him as he called him 'the Domician bitch'. Hes a personal bodyguard for Gay Tony who has connections with the Ancellotis. So Luis is obviously working for the Mafia. Hes crime record has Grand Theft Auto on it, the same goes for Niko and Johnny. In case u do not know who he is, hes the guy lying down in the bank, hes the guy who shot through the window while Niko and Johnny were doing the diamond deal and hes the guy with Gay Tony to exchange the diamonds for Gracie. 'Nuff said.

 

Why hes not: Theres little about him that we do not know. Why is he with Gay Tony? Why does Bulgarin knows him? And why in the world was he lying down in the bank when Niko,Packie and the others were robbing the bank? If he had a gun, Im sure he would took them all out. And I dont wanna play a mission where you just lie down in the bank.

 

 

Gordon

Why he is: Hes like all protaganists in the GTA. Hes awesome. Not afraid to fire a gun. And uh... hes awesome. If we play him, then maybe we could understand what happened to Packie before Niko arrives in Liberty City. Maybe we could bust out Gerry if we're playing as him.

 

Why hes not: Now that I think about it, there is no reason to play him at all. Sure hes like a big macho man with a funny mouth ("Are you in big guy, or are we gonna have to kill you?"), but theres nothing to him.

 

 

Badman

Why he is: Rasta! Badman aint cheap. Badman aint no bloodclot. Ok enough with me for the rasta talking. Who wouldnt wanna play as Badman. He dresses the nicest of all the characters in the story and sometimes fires a gun. We could also make deals to make the Jamaican gang alive and hire recruits.

 

Why hes not: Rasta! I gotta rely on subtitles seen? Too much Jamaican talk must rely you on subtitles to hear wat Badman is saying.

 

 

Little Jacob

Why he is: Same as Badman. We could run the whole Jamaican gang. Badman and LJ = CO-OP

 

Why hes not: Subtitles.

 

 

Packie

Why he is: Dude this is Packie ! Im too lazy to type anything about him cause hes just too awesome.

 

Why hes not: Like Gordon, the only reason to play him is to bust Gerry out.

 

 

Kenny Petrovic

Why he is: Hes the god of coop missions and it is good to play as him. He has everything from the start (wealth,power,etc.). It would be fun to run his gang and show what deals he made with Dimitri.

 

Why hes not: I dont think he wanna get his hands dirty.

 

 

Sonny Botino:

Why he is: Wanted for murder in Vice City and is in hiding, it would be interesting to find out wat happened to him. He could come out of his hiding and take over control of Liberty City.

 

Why hes not: If hes out of hiding, police will be all over his ass. If the next GTA will be GTA Vice City 2 it can show us wat happened to him.

 

 

Jon Gravelli Jr

Why he is: Gravelli's son. It could show us wat happened to him before he got into Custody. He could the some work for his dad too.

 

Why hes not: Hes in custody. Who wanna play a guy who sooner or later would end up in custody.

 

 

Claude Wome

Why he is: Hes partly responsible for the diamond deal and has a golden plated rocket launcher. Yes I did say golden plated rocket launcher and thats so COOOL!!!

 

Why hes not: Maybe hes in Africa right now and thers no reason of him coming to Liberty City.

 

 

Niko Bellic

Why he is: It could show us wat happened to him after the story.

 

Why hes not: No f*cking way! I dont wanna play him again! And the story could be messed up over who died in the story for example Kate or Roman.

 

 

Someone new

If its someone new, I want him to start small and then build an empire. And I want him to be less whiny. And high on drugs.

 

 

Someone who works for R*

Niko Bellic was inspired by R*'s favourite driver. Now I wanna play as one of the R* and to battle it out agaisnt Jack Thompsan.

 

 

A zombie

Zombies sell big. Dead Rising, Resident Evil, Left 4 Dead, And Nazi zombies. 'Nuff said.

I voted for Packie, simply because the voice actor behind him is really great. Much much better than Niko's.

I voted Niko as it would just be wierd playing as someone else in Liberty City

Luis is with Gay Tony because he's his personal bodyguard.

 

You forgot 35 year old Roy Zito, he's the right hand man of Jon Gravelli ever since Sonny/Sammy Botino went into hiding.

This is a tough one. I wouldn't mind having LJ, Packie or Real Badman as the next protagonist. But, I voted for Packie because he'd have the most interesting story.

I voted for someone new because it would be great playing as someone fresh and maybe they could make him be part of one of the other gangs.

I wouldn't mind playing as Badman or LJ though.

I don't think there is any chance of seeing Niko again, i believe i heard there was kind of a falling out between the voice actor and Rockstar....

Well, the two I would love to see would of course be Packie and the McReary entourage.

 

Something I would die to play would be the whole Little Jacob/Badman storyline. I think it would keep, well, me at least, very interested in the game. I can see both of these happening in the following two DLC's.

I think the bank robbery would work well as the opening credits for DLC 2, with subsequent questioning by the feds/ F.McReary. Placing the beginning of Luis` story in the middle of IV would make sense because after "No Way On The Subway" we hear no more of Johnny and the Lost, whereas Luis and the Ancelottis come more into it. Could it be that the DLCs split Nikos` story in two neat halves? Time will tell.

Real Badman mon! i cant even understand his subtitles, but if he got the part im sure R* will work it out. i also wouldnt mind playing as luis, but i vote badman.

 

i also wouldn't mind a female protagonist, maybe Katalina(maybe she survived and now shes pissed off in liberty city?)and if not it could be some new girl.
