Pajkoooo
IT's SOLVED, READ Firstly, I wanna say that my game ran perfectly on Highest details on 1680X1050. I had no problem with anything. Then first patch came, and nothing changed (well, there was nothing to change, because game ran perfectly). My game loooked great like this. But, when that FU***** patch 1.02 came, everything changed. Now, on highest details, game looks like this. But, after i hit auto configure, it looks normal. So, i want to ask you, why does it worked for me in highest before? Do you have any solutions? Is there a possibility of uninstalling off that freaking patch? Thanks BTW, i have commandline.txt with -nomemrestrict -norestrictions -novblank, Radeon 4870 512, Phenom 4850, 4 GB RAM Edited January 27, 2009 by Pajkoooo Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/394553-textures-bug-after-new-patch/ Share on other sites
Rockstar Toronto
Try removing your commandlines. If you have modified any game files you may need to reinstall the game. Pajkoooo
Well, you guys are from rockstar, i could expect answer like this. When I remove commandline, I COULD NOT play it on HIGHEST. So, im asking again, why it does not work on highest now? As I said, i could ran it on highest before. My PC passes the RECOMMENDED PC configuration for playing GTA IV. I didn't modified anything Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/394553-textures-bug-after-new-patch/#findComment-1058917604 Share on other sites

I didn't modified anything I surpass the recommended requirements and have a quad core q9550 and a GTX 280, 1GB overclocked as per my sig yet even i struggle to run on very high settings with 4 gb of ram, its best to try and keep your settings to medium-high with this patch, its where it performs best. I noticed you're using 896 of 476mb of vram which im guessing should be a 512mb card? EDIT: This is the best i can get out of my set up, with fluid gameplay Edited January 27, 2009 by Xenova Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/394553-textures-bug-after-new-patch/#findComment-1058917747 Share on other sites
Pajkoooo
Well, i reinstalled my game, and, as my friend noticed, you DONT HAVE to log in Games For Windows for singleplayer. It runs great but i think there is too small number of vehicles. And for your, Rockstar, I have few sentences. You know, patches should HELP everyone, not to sh*t anything great. I wish you as many problems with users as can be. I hope you will enjoy the trouble youre going to be into here f*ck you.
