WingedWarrior Posted January 25, 2009 Share Posted January 25, 2009 Been using the CheatDevice for a while now and it worked perfectly on 3.71 m33-2 but when I upgraded to 5.00 m33, it stopped working altogether. So I was told to use the original vcscheatdevice.prx. When I do so, the cheat menu pops up like it should but then the games freezes and I'm left with nothing. Any solutions? I`m sorry, I wish I could help you, but I don`t have the 5.00 m33 Custom Firmware, I`m still on 3.40 OE. So I can`t really give you any solutions. Have you tried it with both the original PRX and the Firmware 3.71 PRX ? I will take a look around the Net. I know some sites which might provide a solution for your problem. Also, you should look if your firmware version is the newest, might be possible that there`s a newer version with some bugfixes aviable. If nothing helps, I would suggest you to downgrade to one of the older custom firmwares, on which the Cheatdevice was working without problems. nerner Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 You need to make sure that you are running the 1.50 kernel addon for 5.00 m-33 CFW. If not I guess you can either keep your current firmware and say goodbye to the Cheatdevice or you have to downgrade to an older Custom Firmware version. Damn, I really wanted to try out your cheats Upaluppa. I'll try to find some way to downgrade. Downgrading a Custom Firmware is ALWAYS possible ! Shouldn`t be much of a problem mate. And I don`t think that the newer Custom Firmware versions, like yours have any really good features which the older ones don`t have... So I doubt there`s anything you`ll miss when you`re using an older one ! Especially not when you`re finally able to enjoy my cheats aswell. Some of the things I released are definately damn funny and worth a try, but the real fun starts when I finally have those pedspawns working. You could always google it, but there are really easy ways to make a pandoras battery if you are on CFW. There is a program that can do all of that for you called Pandoras Box i think. And I've searched around and found a OS Pandora Battery Tool, which is just a program essentially making the battery a Pandora but I'm still a bit iffy and I've searched forums telling others to use it, but yet they don't provide a link, and a quick Google search does nothing.
