Garbage on the streets, trash cans, traffic cones and barrels, hot dog stands... This is on a clean Vista SP1 32 bit install, 9.1 Catalyst. Fancy pictures at half res? Anyway, the hot dog stand in front the police station is there, I know as if you get busted you spawn on that location. IHV Posted February 16, 2009 Share Posted February 16, 2009 I did fresh install the other day and after playing a while i installed patch Nr. 2 and i also can confirm the missing objects, like the road construction stuf on the first bridge available to you into Bohan, a lot of benches through out city, most known is probably the the bench Badman sits on, the 2 benches are gone along with trashcans, newspaper thingis etc , everything. This goes on throughout whole city. Odd thing is that some areas are still fully loaded with lot of destructable stuf and nothing seems to be missing so dont post screens here saying you got the stuf , i also could make lots of screens like that, fact is that a lot of stuf is missing aswell. I sure as hell dont know every single hot dog/peanut/whatever seller but as far as i know for me they seem to be in their place. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I.e. all of the sh*t I knew was there before is there still after the second patch. From the stuff referenced here, the hot dog stand in Livingston is THERE. I mean, I would like to play it but now everytime I want to launch it, I remember that half the stuff is missing and I'm like "goddamit" and I'm not playing it anymore. Anyone feeling the same or am I the only wacko here? Cheers I shelved it. I'm going to wait until Rockstar fix the game. But after tweaking abit and lowering resolutions blah blah to reduce the memory footprint on my graphics card I do notice more garbage on the streets. Hot dog stands occur in pairs (ie a hotdog stand and a drink stand) these days. They also tend to spawn with no seller but walking away and walking back seems to spawn to seller. The more I drive around the more things I notice. Eg. As you drive out of the tunnel from Island 2 to 3 there used to be cones etc, at the left, inbetween the two lanes. Now as you drive out of the tunnel there is nothing there. If you turn right out of the safehouse on island 3 and carry on across the road towards the water (you have to go down here to start one of Derriks missions) there used to be explosive gas cylinders etc (I know as I used to love trying to get them to explode). From what people posted I assumed a LOT was mission and that assumption was obviously wrong. So, some screenies on the specified locations plus some more I noticed. Sorry about some of the darker images, I couldn't be arsed to wait for a sunrise. This is where it finally struck me. I knew there were barrels here before. From one of the locations mentioned in this thread. Behind the Irish bar. The hot dog stand in front of the station. I was sure it was there, but nah. One more also. If nothing else they should either announce this, or better still simply put it back with clock & tickers and announce it clearly to in the changelog. the worst thing is the fact that its taken people to spot it to report it rather than changelog it ... not good practice. But R* Toronto guy hasn't logged in in a while. 2) Yes, PC's are definitively able to handle any of that crap. Don't confuse terms such as "shoddy porting" or "halfassed engine making" with "capabilities of the PC as a gaming platform" or "code optimization". I mean the patch had to have been installed right as I have the added options in graphics and the gta.exe states it is 1.0.2.0 unless there is something different now with patch 2 then the first time I updated.
