supertin Posted January 25, 2009 Share Posted January 25, 2009 It'll slow down because it will start using system RAM for the extra textures, etc. System RAM is somewhat slower than video RAM, plus the textures needed will have to flow over the AGp/PCIe bus every time they are needed instead of just once at the start.
