emcax24 Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 Well, I guess pirates can now be thankful... somebody just released a patch 1.0.2 crack which made the drunk cam, Clean Getaway mission and all other bugs disappear... what a world we live in... welcome to last week. anyway if anyone is still having problems legit version i suggest you just reinstall, and if you still have problems then get the "unofficial" patch. this game is a buggy turd and you shouldnt have to jump through so many hoops to play a game. npjnpj Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 Ok, quick update: Success, I deinstalled everything again, de-registered, cleaned the registry threw everything out of the system that reeked even remotely of Rockstar and reinstalled. After a long night and loads of coffee it now works, but ONLY with patch version 1.01. As that patchlevel works fine with me, that's the one I'm going to stick with. choc4444 Posted February 12, 2009 Share Posted February 12, 2009 yea i got the same problem two i dont use cracks or trainers maybe the od mod for fun but only when i complete the game yea i paid chash for the game gen 100% reinstalle tthe game 100% applied the patchs 100% did not instal any mods etc 100% yea the phone will not call valad to re direct me to the car wash so i can clean the car and activate the garage door to open im so pissed of with this game i got rid of two x 1950 shappihire ati crossfire cards which i paid £350 cash for at the end of 2007 and replaced it with ati 3870 got 4 gb gold ddr ram 2.4 intel pro running XP PRO and the game is still sh*t its so F""K up i think rockstar havetucked use all up i hope they LEARN FROM THERE MISTAKES THE PC GAMER WAS HERE FIRST AND WE WILL STAY just like VEDIO KILLED THE RADIO STAR ROCKSTAR ARE KILLING THE PC GAMER Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I played GTA 4, finished it successfully, with no problems whatsoever... Unfortunately I needed to reinstall my Windows so consequently I needed to reinstall GTA 4... I started playing the game again just to waist some spare time but this time I had this problem where the garage door doesn't open cause Vlad doesn't call me in the "Clean Getaway" mission. I did everything the same as when I previously played the game - I downloaded a pirated copy(for FREE), installed a patch and a crack, set an offline account in Games for Windows LIVE and everything seems to run well until that mission If anybody has an advise for me I'll be glad to hear it Thank you!
