+10 in FPS sweet!

BUT!!!

Here's the catch...my benchmark test freezes at the end of the test with graphical failiure all over the screen. Any advice on how I can fix it? Strangely I can escape the test and the test result is saved in my doc folder...

What kind of "failure"...first thought is your GPU is over-heating, second guess is bad ram, third guess processor.

Could also be as simple as the benchmark is screwed in this patch, has been crashing games left and right...play the game for awhile without a bench and see if the problem occurs.

By failure, I mean that the pixles on the screen gets messed up and I get all kinds of colours appearing on the screen.

The thing is though, that the benchmark did freeze in the exact same way, before when patch 1 was installed. The only way to fix the benchmark test (patch 1) was to add these codes in commandline:

-norestrictions

-nomemrestrict

-novblank

(leaving only one tiny little problem: car noise missing?!)

This fix doesn't seem to work with patch 2 installed.

Any ideas?

thx in advance

I fixed the sound issues with a driver update for my X-FI soundcard

Great! I'll try that but I still have to coat with the graphical issue first as it is more vital at this point...

Quite good fps for the minimum rig, had the same rig except a 7900GT instead of GTX. Ran really sh*tty.

I've upgraded to quadcore, still the same videocard, benchmarks:

thing is though, that the benchmark cannot finish properly.

the fps (~28) is good in gameplay after the benching, but I have pixel errors and colour appearences all over the screen (as explained above) which really buggers me...

I've been told that a lot of people here in the forum are experiencing the same prob...
