gtaivpc88
Hi all, this is my benchmark with patch 1 installed: Statistics Average FPS: 16.68 Duration: 36.80 sec CPU Usage: 83% System memory usage: 84% Video memory usage: 88% Graphics Settings Video Mode: 1280 x 1024 (60 Hz) Texture Quality: Low Render Quality: Low View Distance: 1 Detail Distance: 1 Hardware Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3 Video Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX Video Driver version: 181.22 Audio Adapter: SB X-Fi Audio [DF00] AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ File ID: benchmark.cli ------------------------------------------------------------------ now, here we have the benchmark results with patch 2 installed: Statistics Average FPS: 28.18 Duration: 36.84 sec CPU Usage: 90% System memory usage: 80% Video memory usage: 67% Graphics Settings Video Mode: 1280 x 1024 (60 Hz) Texture Quality: Low Render Quality: Low Reflection Resolution: Low Water Quality: Low Shadow Quality: Low View Distance: 1 Detail Distance: 1 Definition: Off VSync: Off Hardware Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3 Video Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX Video Driver version: 181.22 Audio Adapter: SB X-Fi Audio [DF00] AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ File ID: benchmark.cli ------------------------------------------------------------- +10 in FPS sweet! BUT!!! Here's the catch...my benchmark test freezes at the end of the test with graphical failiure all over the screen. Any advice on how I can fix it? Strangely I can escape the test and the test result is saved in my doc folder... ExitiumMachina
What kind of "failure"...first thought is your GPU is over-heating, second guess is bad ram, third guess processor. Could also be as simple as the benchmark is screwed in this patch, has been crashing games left and right...play the game for awhile without a bench and see if the problem occurs. gtaivpc88
What kind of "failure"...first thought is your GPU is over-heating, second guess is bad ram, third guess processor. Could also be as simple as the benchmark is screwed in this patch, has been crashing games left and right...play the game for awhile without a bench and see if the problem occurs. By failure, I mean that the pixles on the screen gets messed up and I get all kinds of colours appearing on the screen. The thing is though, that the benchmark did freeze in the exact same way, before when patch 1 was installed. The only way to fix the benchmark test (patch 1) was to add these codes in commandline: -norestrictions -nomemrestrict -novblank (leaving only one tiny little problem: car noise missing?!) This fix doesn't seem to work with patch 2 installed. Any ideas? thx in advance Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/394090-10-fps-patch-2-minimum-rig/#findComment-1058909021 Share on other sites

kakarot_9
Quite good fps for the minimum rig, had the same rig except a 7900GT instead of GTX. Ran really sh*tty. javi13
With my rig (see sig) I get 21fps average (4 benches with fraps, average out the average framerates). A number of these benchmarks were speeding through star junction, though. I've been told that a lot of people here in the forum are experiencing the same prob...
