By the way, this patch for me is great. Before patch game run with almost no problem (take a week to figure something to make game run properly) and after patch it seem smoother when heavily frog and heavily traffic. and of course I can use Internet Cafe normally. When you look at the videos at youtube you will notice that during the crashes frames go way down. Anyway I am very happy with the new patch, it is smoother now, no internet cafe problems or texture glichtes like people are reporting. Kryten42 Posted January 24, 2009 Share Posted January 24, 2009 (edited) Well...I still get the RESC10 crash, no commandline.txt option seems to help here..and the new patch didnt fix it. What has changed with the patch: I have random freezes now. The game just freezes and has to be terminated with help of the taskmanager. I really would like to play the game further...I was just about to kick dimitris ass I loaded it about 20 times now, tried all commandline options which normally should help...but it always crashes. My video drivers are up to date as directX is... Seems the game has pproblems with real new hardware (Corei7+GTX285) EDIT: I just noticed that the freezes are not real freezes..it seems the fps goes just so low that it feels like a freeze....this is a joke...Im thinking about rinstalling and not loading this patch Edited January 24, 2009 by Kryten42 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
vivecs Posted January 24, 2009 Share Posted January 24, 2009 I'm Pretty happy with this patch, i notice that the game runs abit smoother even though i got a slight decrease fps in benchmark. And they give more option to play with at the graphic menu. I'm very happy that rockstar actually made a second patch, and i hopethere will be another patch that can actually make a difference in performance and make the game not too cpu intensive. Thank you Rockstar for makig this patch (Use the moblur tweak and turn off fraps, it help me to enjoy the game without worrying too much about the framerate ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

tigerx Posted January 24, 2009 Share Posted January 24, 2009 well i found away to get around the hardcoded handling problem, if you use the new version of Xliveless, it will load the handling file again. i edite the sabre GT to weight 22000 and it work.
