CharmingCharlie
we just want to make sure our copies safe and sound from scratches so we don't have to buy another bloody copy. Think before you say something. Never understood that philosophy myself, I have games going back nearly 10 years on cd and floppy disc and to this day they still work. I just checked my copy of GTA 4 and there isn't a scratch on it and my copy gets bashed about a fair amount since I have GTA 4 on both my PC's and have to shuttle the disc between upstairs and downstairs (will be buying a second copy of steam soon). I dunno you guys are aware that the dvd drives in most modern PC's are actually of a "good quality" unlike the dvd drives in the Xbox 360 which were probably knocked up by a Chinese company for 50p (sorry couldn't resist). Anyway since it has been confirmed by Rockstar that this is actually an anti piracy measure I will lock up this thread now since the solution is pretty clear "don't use cracks".
