We need to find what is causing it. Try unplugging any controllers you have plugged in, or try starting a new game.

Yepp . . . no use.

Oh god I'm all alone?

If people don't stop the flaming, quote trains and off topic crap in here then warnings will be issued and bans will be dished out where appropriate. If you want to duel with your cocks do it in PM so you aren't boring the hell out of us.

Your right I am sorry. It was not my intention to have it go like it has.

These whiners just get to be too much sometimes. All they post is how much they were screwed.

Sometimes I cant control myself giving them a little "what for". Isnt that a british term? The gecko lizard used it in a commercial here in the states.

I will stop and ignore from now on.

At least those whiners have a good reason to whine for the money they spent, instead of going around flaming all day on the forums with nothing productive at all. That is a whole different game all together.

HELP!!!!!

From http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=393961

To re-activate your supported gamepad simply enter the commandline, "-usedirectinput".

where do i enter the commandline??

-usedirectinput

Create a file named "commandline.txt" and put "-usedirectinput" in it and save it to your GTA IV folder.

And this patch gave me better performance.

Patch 1.0.2.0

This new patch improves my performance ingame a little. It feels smoother while playing.

The only thing I dont understand is that this patch already caused me some troubles in the past 30 minutes.

The problems I noticed after installing the patch:

1: The ammo counter in the right upper corner of my screen disappeared in Freemode (Airport)

2: My game already crashed more times it has ever done in this past 30 minutes.

After connecting to a multiplayer server it already crased two times on the starting game loading text.

Did anyone else experienced the same problem with the ammo count and the crashes already?

Rockstar monitors these forums, there has even been reports of people being contacted by rockstar employees to run tests for them. I gurantee you rockstar is watching the results people are getting with this new patch release. So where is your case and point? exactly you just bored. So whatever i'm not gonna say nothing to you no more please don't to me i'm here to resolve my issues.

Dont see much in performance, didnt have much problem before.
