Trouble007 Posted January 24, 2009 Share Posted January 24, 2009 (edited) hi guys well i installed the patch hoping the shadows would be better, but no go. i still enjoy playing though and aint really bothered to be honest. no fps increase for me either on my rig q6600, 9800gt 1gb, 3gb ram. still getting around 29.9 fps. the shadows look great with definition on, but its like playing after have 300 beers so i changed it back / took a screenie for all you shadow fans out there maybe next time.. EDIT: Try starting a new game and see if that works, maybe unplug any controllers you have plugged in. Sorry I can't be of anymore help. It doesn't even use the handling.dat file anymore, it seems to be hardcoded. That sucks. Are you sure? Have you patched the file with the original copies in it? I cranked video settings down to 800x600 and it ran a bit better. then I ctrl escaped and change my video card settings in nvidia control panel down to 800x600. Much better.
