OabAli
After reading all the posts (took about an hour) I'm sold in getting the patch. Screw my download limit! I recently upgraded Forceware from 180.48 to 181.22 and saw noticeable increase from occasional <20 FPS to occasional 23+ FPS, and averaging at 30 - 35 FPS, which is great. Thnx nVidia. In the meantime, here is a benchmark I did with patch 1.01 and Forceware 181.22. I will upload a benchmark that has patch 1.02 installed later. The benchmark clip is an explosion at a gas station with plenty of cars involved. See specs in sig. Jaih1
32MB is only bunch of clownjokes. If a patch is under 200mb, I dont except any optimize/boost. Do you even have a fraction of a clue how long it takes to put together a patch like that..... ? or even a fraction of a clue what your talking about ? CHILLI
I've finally got GTA IV and was playing with 9-15FPS in the middle island as average to what fraps is saying. then I got this patch and it runs the game pretty much at a constant 20-22FPS. BUT I cant do missions because it freezes the game
