Dcrysis02 Posted January 24, 2009 Share Posted January 24, 2009 Well,the game's gotten pretty dark without setting anything up or down.I needed to turn up brightness,contrast and saturation MORE to get the same visual quality as before.The game runs a bit smoother but nothing big.Sad that 2 months wasn't nearly enough for a proper optimization "fix"Not only the patch,but two drivers also add to this so maybe the patch didn't do so much,it was the drivers.Oh,and when i turn shadow quality to med or low the shadows start to flicker.That was no problem before.At least they threw a bone to the dogs they call "customers" who support them.... turbo1508 Posted January 24, 2009 Share Posted January 24, 2009 Well the game is smoother ill give it that, i also dont have to disable my other controller to play with mouse and keyboard. I have noticed that the game is extremely ugly more so than pre 1.0.2.0. Tried to join a mutliplayer game and failed several times, Still no AA. i_speel_good Posted January 24, 2009 Share Posted January 24, 2009 did they change independence radio in 2nd patch? it plays user tracks. other times its like a talk radio station and after there done talkin it kicks back to the user tracks.anyone else have this prob?? Alright, I think it might have just been 1 corrupt clip, if thats ever happened to anyone? Well I tried a few others and they loaded so thats a relief, Video editor is a big thing here and if that didn't work I'd probably reinstall. Still the Benchmark refuses to run, tried it numerous times and waited long enough, I can't be assed with that.
