Can i save the photos i take?

Recommended Posts

Yeah. The camera phone is virtually useless outside missions. Why did R* have to do that?

I found the camera in San Andreas one of the most interesting features, wish Rockstar had kept it in IV, but whatcha gonna do.

I readed from a finnish game magazine, when IV wasn't came out yet, it was a beta test. It says, that the tester took a picture of pedestrian, and put it into police computer. He tried to find some information of that ped from police computer, but he didnt finnd anything, though... But my point it, that can you actually do that, 'cause i havent managed to do that. Everytime i try, it says that "No photos found" Perhaps it was possible to do that in beta game?

Its used once in a mission, where you take a picture of some guy.

I know that mission.. I have beaten that game, and in the magazine showed some missions, but not that one. He was just free roaming, and started to play with phone.

It's damn stupid to include camera for game just for one mission... If i remember correctly, there are only one mission where you have to use camera... In free mode its useless.

I totally agree. It'd be better if they used the Midnight Club L.A. method where you can take a picture of your car and upload it to the Social Club website

That is really true. I don't really see the point of the camera in the game either. It should have been pretty obvious for Rockstar to make the mobile be able to take pics that saved on the hard drive. They must have a good excuse for it then.

Coming from a person who loved to take pictures of sights, scenery and vehicles using the camera in San Andreas, I can relate to this. It should had been a no brainer for R* to bring over this feature to GTA4. I really anticipated being able to save pictures after getting the upgraded phone later in the game, to my utter disappointment.

Of course, we could get by in the PC version by using the Print Screen key when aiming the camera in a first person view, provided there is a way to eliminate the mobile phone UI in this view (the standard HUD-minimap to the lower left can be disabled in the options section).
