Would you mind finding it for me? I don't go into the IVums much because I haven't played IV yet. That said, please use spoiler tags if you are referencing major storyline developments from IV. I asked whether or not anyone knows whether there will be a second DLC because I'm wondering how many they'll do for IV before actually doing a totally new release. Yeah, sorry didn't catch your reply so fast man. K^2 summed it up. Well, anyway. So the main question is, who will you play as in episode two? I doubt it will be someone like Dimitri, Faustin, Ray, or Peg, because they are more boss like and not really on the streets like most characters are. Posted January 23, 2009 Share Posted January 23, 2009 It's possible that the second episode will have L.J or Packie star in the leading role, but when you take into account that Johnny was only seen a couple of times in the main game, it doesn't make all that much sense to have them star in the second episodic content. However, taking a look at who L.J and Packie's friends/siblings, Badman and Gerry respectively, it doesn't seem too far fetched that these two might have a lead role. The latter would be quite interesting too, as it could run parallel to Niko's storyline, which as anyone would know, ends up with Gerry in prison. Jailbreak anyone? He was involved in that whole diamond controversy. His profile states that in 2000 he has a clean diamond act violation. You can also see that in Mori Green's and Issac Roth's profile as he has the same violation and in the same year as well. It was reported that they were arrest in connection to an operation importing illegal conflict diamonds from Africa. In 2002, it was reported that he owned a gold plated rocket launcher. He's an African warlord so that would probably explain why. How awesome would it be to get a gold plated rocket launcher from this guy? It could be possible that he'll meet/ get connected with Little Jacob and Badman. But my vote would go for Luis Fernando Lopez because of that Impossible Trinity theory and also because he ambushed the deal in Museum Piece and he's been seen in Three Leaf Clover and Diamond's Are a Girl's Best Friend missions. He also has strong ties with The Comission via Gay Tony and The Ancelottis, thus giving us a alternative angle on the mafia family. Not only that but his gang is one we haven't seen much in GTA IV; it could really expand on that side of Liberty City. Yeah, but Jacky one thing I noticed with the stories they are prequels and the DLC is supposed to collide with what you do with Niko throughout the game. Perhaps Playboy X could be the new guy in town, coming straight from Los Santos or somewhere else. It could note his rags to riches to death story, which would be an interesting; there was a mission where you had to take a picture of a gang member. The problem with Playboy is he is not the type of guy that would run around town alone wreaking havok, the guy has bodyguards and bitches with him 24/7. Plus for the episodes they will be in check with where Niko's story is and Playboy has been in LC for 10 years( I think maybe 5 ) by the time it's Niko's story. Bul1etSp0nge Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 (edited) Weapons I want them to add: Melee We need a lot more melee weapons and maybe even a fight club Handguns -Ruger Mk II - Silenced .22 -Colt Anaconda (maybe not it might be too similar to the deagle) Shotguns No more we got four SMG's -Silenced Uzi Carbine Assault Rifles I think the AK and M4 are enough Snipers Bolt action and Semi auto are okay unless an automatic scoped weapon that was weaker than the PSG1 would work Heavy Weapons -M249 SAW -M79 (I know there was a grenade launcher in TLAD but I want the grenades to explode on impact but otherwise be the same) I don't think anything else could be added without going overboard Vehicles I want them to add: The trucks and bikes in TLAD were great but how about some fast cars. It feels like there should be more fast cars, like the cheetah and bullet. Gameplay: I think we will be playing as Luis and he is a body guard for gay tony. I hope we don't have to watch gay tony too much during missions. Hopefully he mostly gives you orders and you only have to guard him when he buys the diamonds and exchanges the diamonds for Gracie. I'm not hoping we play as her but I would still by the game if we did. And I had no clue she was a lesbian until that girl said they had sex. I also would like to play as Jacob too, but he can barley speak English, and doesn't seem as badass. (not being racist). I would most likley be Luis though.
