X45 Posted January 22, 2009 Share Posted January 22, 2009 Getting ready to take Katie on a date I was scrolling through my weps for the flowers I picked when I stopped on the mega machine gun and accidentally hit LMB . Somehow it was lined up perfectly with her and she was wasted. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the "Your girlfriend is dead" message and thought I had killed the passing pedestrian girl. So, escaping from the approaching cops from my 4 star wanted level I saved my game. Now I'm out of free hospital visits and I'd like to know if there is some way to get Katie back . So much that It wouldn't be practical to restart from the previous saved game? Oh... don't tell us you only use one of the eight save slots. Well, you don't have to save after she gets killed. You can always reload your last save, no need to pull it up from another slot necessarily. You generally wouldn't want to save when you become aware that you did something that would mess up a save game permanently. If you can't get Katie to reappear, try getting all the oysters and coming back. It also disables the sex appeal affect so you can pick her up dressed in your underwear driving a beat-up Perennial if you want. I found out it was her I killed when I came back the next day for a date and the heart symbol on the radar was gone . As for the oysters I am hunting again for the missing one.
