ThieuVan Posted January 22, 2009 Share Posted January 22, 2009 Dear, My problem is here: My computer details: Vista SP1, Intel Core 2 Duo T8300, NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTS, 4GB RAM, Net frame work 3.5 SP1, directX, Social Club, game for win live.... all installed. Updated drivers for everything last 15 minutes. But when I come into the game, I cant see anything except some cars running. Other texture disappear! Is there any solution for me? Well ya can fix the problem with tweaks cacheboost but - It slows down the game - and you wil have some stuttering in the game 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
FlipWillie Posted January 22, 2009 Share Posted January 22, 2009 From what I have heard there are two kinds of "missing textures" problems. 1). Textures gradually disappear. So it works for a while, but you eventually end up in Invisible town. 2). Textures are not present at the onset. So, you start out in invisible town. I myself have version one, and cacheboost works, but slows things down considerably. Other than that, I have found no solution. I thought that there was a fix for the second case, but I can't remember what it was. You might try double checking your drivers. I made the graphic options in a lowest setting (800 600, 1-2 on other option choices) and the game works smoothly. Means my laptop is not strong enough as it is supposed to be.
