Cursed
My PC used to have four 512MB sticks of 400MHz DDR2 memory. Since I have removed two of the sticks and replaced them with two 1GB 400MHz DDR2 sticks, giving me a total of 3GB. After reading about how slower memory lowers the clock speed of fasted memory, I was wondering if I am better off with the 2GB running at 400MHz, or 3GB running at 333MHz. I have an AMD Athlon 5000+. anus
I say stick with the 2GB 400MHz setup. This will give better performance than the 3GB setup for sure. Can't you try using the 3GB setup and overclock it to 400MHz from 333MHz?
Cursed
I've got no experiance of overclocking at all, so it probably wouldn't be a good idea. Just found out my Iomega 500GB external HDD is actually a Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 in an Iomega casing
