mYkSiNaToR
Okay, so after 2 WHOLE DAYS occupied my whole computer time for fixing GTA4 I somehow managed it to work. But now, after a short amount of playtime, the game starts to lag annoyingly and, after a few seconds just freezes. The sound however still goes, but the screen freezes. I can alt-tab and that's how I exit. I tried defragmenting, I tried deleting drivers, codecs, I tried re-overclocking, I... what should I do? AMD x2 4000+ @2.73GHz 9600GT 512 3GB The issue just can not be the clock because I played the game with it for like a month.

mYkSiNaToR
I tried something Rockstar Toronto suggested (yes, there is suck user) - safemode in commandline and re-installing GFWL - FAIL.
