Dcrysis02
Anyway,do you guys think the DLC will be a bit more optimized?Would be a shame if RockStar didn't want to correct it's failure.
qwertz123
peeps who have their computers buyed three years ago and would love to play a game, not a slideshow. They will have to upgrade their rigs or severely decrease the GFX settings, no "patch" will make all 3 years old PCs run GTA 4 at high settings smoothly. the xbox tech is three years old too so the fps counter has to be at least equally with a computer from the same timeframe at low to medium graphic settings but this isn't the case as can be read everywhere here. qwertz123
lol. the only thing the pc version got is the option to have the textures not downsized and the enhanced drawdistance is nothing special; some variables. maybe the highest renderer but then again who cares if the performance is so terrible (unless u like a drawdistance of 20 with average 20fps) that people get upset and start to cry. and btw: i cant stand the nice talking of something thats just bad. I dont know about you but i have avg 40+fps. Its not so bad performance anyway. depends mostly on the drawdistance i say and even with it set to 80% (and everything else to the highest) the performance is not that mindbreaking: 30 fps while in pursuit does kinda kill the phun for a racing game, doesn't it? (core i7 @3.8 ghz, gtx260 216 o/c sli, 6gb ddr3 1600, velocityraptor and so on and so on....wsxga resolution) carmacks new racing game rage (which is kinda like gta4 just set in a post apocalyptic scenario) is said to run at 60hz and that's not for some silly reasons...
