It could be awesomethough, but I think there will be a problem with the graphics; cod4 was on pc,xbox 360,ps3 and nintedo ds... not wii! but even on ds! Because I think there was a problem with the graphics...so the same will happen with gta4, but it would be fun... I play Wii to play some baseball or tennis with my buddies, I play GTA IV on the 360 to kill hookers and mow down crowds of people in a city bus thats on fire and riddled with bullet holes... Well I don't That's probably impossible to do or if it were possible, then some of the games features would be ripped out just to make it work on the wii. Engioc Posted January 22, 2009 Share Posted January 22, 2009 (edited) I doubt you will see it on Wii, even if they did it would need to be stripped down quite a lot so the Wii could run it smoothly enough. The Wii just doesn't come close enough with its hardware specs, I doubt it would be worth R*s time to port it to Wii. Without being a fanboy (I'm a PC gamer, I have a PS2, but I'll get any system with good games on it). To me Wii and Nintendo have always been more a toy, sorry, but its true. When I look around my local game store I see little kiddie games for any Nintendo platform, examples are things like Mario something, Mario something more, and many disney kids movie games are on Nintendo. I'm not saying there are no games on Wii for mature gamers but most are aimed at kids. Now I know these games are also available on sony PS# and xbox ### but in addition to the kiddie games you'll find GTA, Driver, GRID, NFS, and many other games that are aimed at a much older audience, infact the vast majority of games I see for those consoles are aimed at 15+ gamers. I'll admit I dont often pay that much attention to consoles of any kind, I'm a PC gamer most of the time but what I do know is most of the people who own a Wii are probably too young to be playing a game like GTA#. Its aimed at mature audience 15+, sometimes even adults only 18+. With that in mind I cant see it would make financial sense for R* to port GTA4 to Wii. If Nintendo really wanted to have games like GTA they really need to get serious with hardware, maybe they need two consoles, the toy for kids, and something bigger and better with similar specs to other consoles.
