Changed formula?

Now I've been thinking. I can see us working for Billy, Ray B and possibly Dimitri. Other than that though, I can't really see us being involved with anybody else other than the Angels of Death. So I recon Rockstar may change the formula and have us work as a gang rather than for contacts. Hmm... I'll explain myself because that didn't really make much sense to me either. Right, I can see us, instead of working FOR contacts (as in travelling the map to visit contacts and that), we just go back and forth from The Lost HQ and sort out business from there. It'd make sense seeing as you're part of a gang, may lead it at some point, and that there might not be that many people to work for to make it worthwhile travelling the whole map to see them. Anybody else agree?

I don`t think we`ll see Ray B, he uses his meth-head bit-on-the-side as a go-between, and has the diamonds stashed in bin-bags.

 

Although I can see many co-op missions like "Three Leaf Clover", I don`t want them following Johnny everywhere. Maybe they`re just back-up, like the achievement says

[Omnia sunt Communia]

I disagree. There will always be people to take orders from, even if that person is Johnny himself. I'm sure your main contact would be Billy Grey, you'd end up taking most of your work for him. The bikers are also known to work as hired muscle for The Pegorinos, so I'm sure we'd be working for either Ray or Jimmy; maybe even Phil Bell.

 

Not to mention the fact that I'm sure Johnny will be working for lots of other people. Just because he's in a gang, doesn't mean he'll only be working for them. Look at CJ from San Andreas, or Toni from Liberty City Stories; they both belonged to gangs but they took missions from all sorts of people.

 

There will probably be a "J" on the map, that relates to missions Johnny sets for himself. Just like the "V" in Vice City that symbolizes Tommy's own missions.
