JOSEPH X Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 Has anyone worked out if we`ll be seeing any characters Ray B, Jimmy P, Faustin, Dmitri who Niko whacked in the main game return in TLaD, apart from Jason Michaels would it be a good or bad idea to see them again, knowing their fate. AnotherDave Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 I wouldn't be surprised if we see one or two characters from IV, and as we already know what happened to a couple of the Lost, knowing any other characters are gonna pop their clogs wouldn't be without precedent. Rockstar stated that they're all or almost all dead and they wanted to create a whole new story, without any connections to previous games. I think they'll keep that on with this DLC. Mitch Baker doesn't stand a chance of returning lol, even though "The Lost and Dammed" is a biker gang theme. Vice City events occurred in 1986, I don't know how old he was back then, but GTA IV is set in 2008, so 22 years already passed since Mitch Baker appeared. He was probably between 35/45 years old, so I don't think he still runs a bike. He's just probably dead. And Rockstar don't really need to bring him up, since GTA IV features two biker gangs already. (roman states this via text msg and in TLAD's trailer klebitz says "i'm not in the kidnapping business"...<- but has to do it the first time then) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm not sure whether Johnny knew or not or whether he was just as surprised as Niko about the museum ambush. I suppose it depends on what they choose to do with Luis. If Luis is the main character in DLC2, then they will probably keep it as him being behind the ambush. If Luis is just a side-character in DLC1 (TLAD) then you're probably right about Johnny. As for dead characters returning I have no problem playing alongside characters whose death I've already seen. For me it will be no different than seeing Diaz in VCS. [WARNING - obvious spoilers ahead for anyone not finished the IV storyline yet] I'm expecting: Ray Boccino, Roman Bellic & Demitri. Others might be: Vlad, Manny, Faustin, Francis, Pegorino, Lenny Petrovic. Eddie Low could also make an appearance. I expect we'll get to replay the "Blow Your Cover" mission from Johnny's point of view and kill that LCPD cop that I'm fairly sure disappeared before Niko could get to him. In that case then I guess Johnny won't shoot them, but I guess I can add them to the list of dead people I'll probably see in TLAD, if only for a second. You're right, about "Blow Your Cover," you get to play Johnny's side of the story too. The mission is called "Buyer's Market." It goes down the same, but instead of heading towards the roof with Playboy and Niko you go downstairs and take the cops on. Also, the guy you shoot in "Blow Your Cover" in GTA IV who falls off the roof, lands on Johnny after he escapes in "Buyer's Market" in TLAD.
