88survivor
Remember the good ol' days when you were just a regular ten year old or seven year old kid that had NES back then? How many times did you play Mario Bros. 3? Or how many hours did you spend on the NES system back then? Time to go back to the 90s where everything was simple on Television: Video Power: I remember every morning on 6 o'clock to watch this show. I remember the transformation from a cartoon show/game informer to a game show. I can recall never missing this show. Let's face, I was eight at the time and this show was like my crack back in the days. I could recall the many times I wanted to be a contestant on this show, yet I still never got the chance. Johnny Arcade...shall be the most annoying and coked-out host ever in the history of game shows. http://www.lakupo.com/grblitz/vidpower.htm http://www.retrogamevideos.com/video/view&v=e16a6092 http://www.retrogamevideos.com/video/view&v=317fbdb1 http://www.retrogamevideos.com/video/view&v=7166ec4f http://www.retrogamevideos.com/video/view&v=3b685a0d http://www.retrogamevideos.com/video/view&v=98c39f50 http://www.retrogamevideos.com/video/view&v=b730f551 Nick Arcade: Everyone has to remember this game....possibly one of the most memorable shows from Nick. Gotta love how dorky Phil is as a host. Weird to see Joey Fatone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGid_1SJQrQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XO1e6J8uInc&feature=related
beavis
I remember as a kid and watching the old Nickelodian shows. I wanted to be on Nick Arcade so bad just for the free games and what not. That would've been the highlight of my youth right there.
88survivor
You were not alone. Didn't we all wanted to be on Nick Arcade, too?
anus
One of my favourite games from the '90s has to be Fallout 2. Really kickass game with one hell of a story. HL also comes to mind. The '90s was a great era, not just for games, but for everything.
Tchuck
Those were the best times. Playing mortal kombat against my nanny, countless hours playing Super Mario Kart, exploring all levels in Mario Kart 64 to death! The Duke Nukem times... Watching my uncles beating Donkey Kong Country, so many memories! Oh and I wanted to be on that other Nickelodeon show, Legends of the Hidden Temple! Voodoo
On the subject of video game shows, does anyone remember Throut and Neck from the Game Show Network back in '99? I used to watch it religiously, mostly for Becca. She was the hottest thing on game related TV pre-G4. Interesting concept for a show, too. Throut and Neck This is the only footage I can find from the show at first glance. Oh, and some dude's lame screen grab gallery.

Inky
This was (and I think still is?) the kind of sh*t we, or at least my friends and I, had to watch at the time before Electric Playground and G4TV:
