anyone using x-box 360 controller on gta windows

i am running gta 4 on windows vista i am trying to find a x-box 360 controller that is compatible with windows vista. i have found x-box 360 controllers that are compatible for windows xp but are they compatible on windows vista as well.

yes, they are compatible with vista. i'm using the wired version right now on vista x64

I use wireless with Vista 32 works fine.

 

If you are buying a new controller it says Vista on the package.

 

One note to mention-

Make sure you turn on controller W/Xbox button (On controller) before you launch game. You may end up spinning in circles if you forget.

 

Just means you have to restart game w/controller turned on. They go to sleep after a while of no use.

If something says compatible with Windows XP, then chances are it is an older version of a product, and was manufactured before Vista was released. The controller should still work with Vista nonetheless.
