ken2000ac Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 Since IV is out and I am unable to play it, I decided to re-install SA and play through that again. Every time I install the game, textures fail to load, as seen above. Please note that I have installed and successfully played this game before on this exact system all the way through. Now, this re-installation is giving me trouble for some reason. I have updated drivers. In fact I tried several different drivers, ranging from 174.xx to 181.xx. Vista Ultimate x86 Intel E6850 eVGA 7800gt 4gb RAM I have already given search a try here on these forums and utilizing Google. Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

640509-040147 Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 Does the .set file have anything to do with the texture problems? I will never know. Try it anyway. I got a similar issue when I switched to a newer driver. Deleting the .set file is the first step you'd want to take after updating anything. 640509-040147 Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 Do you have a secondary hard disk, or a one with no valuable data?
