Hey I have a laptop, it is equipped with Windows Vista, Intel Duo Core CPU, T5750. Also has 2G Ram, with ATI Radeon xpress 1250, 256mb.. Will a copy of GTA 4 successfully work on this computer running on min requirements?

Nope. Your graphics card does not meet the minimum requirements. You need at least a ATI X1900.

This chart shows the "generation" of graphics card you are in. Find (ctrl + f) "1250" and compare with "X1900". Doesn't look too good...

i got a 8800 ultra and it runs like sh*t. i get 20 FPS avg in game. its mainly about the CPU.

Your CPU and GPU fall below the minimum requirements. You need atleast a Core 2 Duo (very different from the Duo core) and your GPU, well, probably wouldn't run it.

 

If you are dying to play GTA IV (and in most cases, most people would rather die than play it due to the bugs and problems ) you could buy the game, try to run it, and if it doesn't work, you know it's time to upgrade. If it does work, it will probably have trouble achieving more than 15 FPS.
