Turns out he's giving me- -Accomodation -Holstein Milk (fresh I might add) -Use of his bar tab -My very own Quad (which has to stay within a 6 mile distance from the farm) -A Tractor, also attached to it is a Combine Harvester -And 37% of his income goes straight to me Good deal, eh? I had such high hopes for you As for me, I make nothing, becuase im still studying in school. I delivered papers for £45 a week once and I only worked for 2 hours for that. Hopefully I'll get a good job when I leave univercity... I'm only going on benefits because I can't find a job, and since my mum will be leaving her job within a week shes been bitching at me to at least go on the doll so we can pay the bills and such. I feel like scum for going on it because I'm fit enough to work just nobody wants to hire people right now. And if £50 quid a week can pay the mortgage ( £250/300 ) then at least we'll be okay for the rest. Don't feel like a scum bag just because you're on the 'dole'. It isn't just the lazy pikeys and chavs. There are also civilised folk on benefits since it's so hard to find a decent job in the UK these days because they're all going to the eastern Europeans. Main upside though is my job is secure (can't be made redundant), and I'm paying into a final-salary based pension which'll see me retire in the mid-50 range.
