CryptReaperDorian Posted January 20, 2009 Share Posted January 20, 2009 I'm wondering if anybody knows where Manhunt 2 takes place? I think it takes place in San Fierro and parts of San Andreas. Here is my reason.: In the manual you get with Manhunt 2 it says Daniel Lamb graduated from The University of San Fierro meaning that he probably came from San Fierro. Anyways, in one of the missions you are out in the country at a farm killing rednecks and then after that mission you play a mission as the Leo Kasper persona going to Danny's house. With all the fences and such around the houses I'm sure it is in San Fierro. If not, it could be in Los Santos. Not to mention, Los Santos and San Fierro are bordered by countryside. I mean, with the manual and the missions it makes me believe it is San Fierro, Los Santos, or San Andreas state. I could accept Carcer City as the setting if it is, but I doubt that it is. As far as we know, GTA SA took place in 1992 and I don't think they confirmed the date of GTA(1) so in over a decade a city could get a lot gloomier. Hmmm nice bike Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 Just adding my two cents here. I've played both Manhunt games as well, and I also doubt Manhunt 2 is in Carcer City. I remember a long time ago (around when MH2 was first announced) that is was said that the game took place in a New Orleans-like city. This is where that could be found at (at the bottom of the page), but it is just a rumor, so I guess we can't be too sure. But I'd say that both New Orleans and a modern San Fierro and outskirts of San Fierro are both good possibilities as to where the game is set. Carcer is somewhere in the Northeastern/Central states, but Manhunt 2 appears to be set in either in a Southern or Northwestern state (for example, the small palm trees, New Orleans-like graveyard, sugar factory on the sea-side or in a large lake, etc.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
