chngdman
Can't help you because you haven't told us anything except that your game crashes. What are your specs? Please, also link me to your PC - I want a link to the actual PC you own. I understand your frustration, but say things to Rockstar, like, where you will actually reach them... They may be stalking the boards, but this is a user-to-user community...
mYkSiNaToR
AMD x2 4000 ovcld 2.73GHz 3GBRAM 9600GT 512MBGGDDR3 320HDD It doesn't run at 60 fps, but it runs usually fine. And now it STILL crashes - I reinstalled Games for Windows - STILL crashes. After the loading screen it just throws me in the desktop...

AusCleaver
Hey dude, I get a similar problem. Repair Netframework and also visual c++ as they could have something to do with it.

mYkSiNaToR
So who should I turn to? I bought this game, it worked fine for a month and now it is simply unplayable - the loading screen problem is here, and the gameplay freeze (random) also. logitechdog
did you defrag your hdd? as GTAIV streams the data... also can be a codec problem... or audio driver software related like quicktime... so on did you try the ( -novblank ) in the commandline file might also be a missing codec for the x64 bit
mYkSiNaToR
I am x32, I deleted ALL my codecs, I didn't uninstall Quick Time and I didn't defrag the hard. With -novblank I get no more loading screen stuck...
LOKIOLR
I feel your pain. The same thing is happening to me. It worked for about a month and now nothing. Nobody seems to know why. http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=391825
