XenonFORT Posted January 20, 2009 Share Posted January 20, 2009 (edited) Yeah, it's strange, but since I saw another one with this problem, and nobody said a solution to this anywhere, I'm putting it here so maybe someone can take a rid of it. I have everything up to date and working well. I don't have in some things the minimuns requeriments, but since the other guy who got this problem too have a nice computer and can run the game perfectly besides this, I think it don't have anything to do with the requeriments. I can play the game like it is right now, but damn, I want see the face of the woman who I'm trying to date lol. There are some pictures that are taken by him: I tried running the game with logged on RSGSC and without login, and still the same... I hope you guys have got a solution to this. Thanks for your time ^^. Edit: I haven't metioned that this don't happen with the police computer or ATM station, only with qub3x and all the PC's on liberty city ([email protected] and the others, like the one in the U L Paper mission too) The only connection with he and me is that we have both the Spanish text, but I haven't reported any other spanish people this error so... GrumpyComic Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 I have this exact same problem too. I have updated my drivers to the latest 8.12 and also applied the latest patch. I'm running an ATI x1950 PRO 512MB card and apart from this and the odd texture glitch everything else works fine. I've searched the board and can't find an answer either. I hope someone can help us ^^u. you need a better graphics card, thats the root of the problem. The minimum requirement for this game is an ATI X1900 and since you are using agp graphics, something tells me that your processor also might fail the minimum requirements as well Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GrumpyComic Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 Well, considering that we're just looking at a blank two dimensional unmoving screen, it can hardly be the fact that a powerful graphics card is needed, it must be a texture or driver problem. I've tried viewing the computer screen in different resolutions and at different rendering settings but to no avail. It does seem to be ati card related.
