Well, i just finished my attempt at it.

I got to 46 and then got blown to pieces.

I was on black smoke at 40 so i was being careful.

When i got to 46, i turned a corner only to be T-Boned by a Police car in pursuit of a criminal.

 

Oh well. Congrats, lazy, on completing it. And, i agree with flicko, great set of screenies there.

Something like that almost happened to me. Luckily I managed to get away from the chase with little damage.

That is the only Taxi that i ever do it with. The Taxi is too slow because it is a front wheel drive, the Cabbie is a better turner and not that hard to handle.

Haha, well, to be honest, i said "Oh f*ck, that is a real bitch" and then kind of chuckled as i realised how much time i'd wasted.

I've played through "Nines & AK's" keeping to weapons I get during missions. I will pick up reloads for those weapons. that are taken off fallen enemies or at Emmet's. No other random spawn locations allowed.

 

Armor purchased at Ammu-Nation only. Which means I'm gonna have to do without until it opens.

All Horseshoes from a new game

aarghh - I had 47, then got shot out of the sky...

Here are two screenshots anyway.

 

Strategy:

I'm using the initial BMX to grab a few weapons, armour and the parachute in LS. Then to LV by Shamal, going E of the coast so the 4 stars won't get triggered too early. Then I parachute onto the billboard by the Chinese Mall to grab the 1st horseshoe. Drop down, grab a vehicle (police or something on the freeway) and go to the Creek safehouse for the Mountainbike. I'm usually picking up almost all horseshoes by Mountainbike, especially on 4 stars. Mega-hops get you onto many rooftops and by the time I had 30ish horseshoes, the cycling skill was high enough for decent mega-hops (cycling skill was maxed out just as I had collected my last cycling horseshoe). Then I head for the Seasparrow N of the desert airstrip, for the remaining horseshoes that require flying - and that's when those hydra missiles hit me hard.

 

You can get 46 horseshoes without flying.

The 4 flying ones are: Top of Emerald Isle, Chinese Mall Billboard, both at Come-A-Lot.

You also have that one on the billboard where you're going to have to jump out of the plane. When I'm just normally going about gathering horseshoes when entering LV in the storyline I am typically using a jetpack. I guess the jetpack cheat would be, well, cheating right?

I have just finished Home Invasion. So far, all i've got is:

 

A spray can from Tagging Up Turf

A bat from Cleaning the Hood

A pistol from Nines and AK's

 

And that's it...

 

Since i've just started the game and i'm not too far from the beginning, this might be enough for most of the future missions. Hopefully i'll get some better weapons soon though.

I don't think 860 was particularly laughing at the wording of the challenge (although it does need revision, I'll admit! ), seeing as he posted the Big grin smiley, which indicates to me that he's completed the challenge.

And no, I've collected the horseshoes so many times now that I have all locations memorized, so locating them wasn't a big deal. But I did struggle with the initial low cycling skill, and the low armour and health levels of a new game. I'm used to having done vigilante, firefighter, ambulance and burglary before going off 4staring, so this was new.

When I'm just normally going about gathering horseshoes when entering LV in the storyline I am typically using a jetpack. I guess the jetpack cheat would be, well, cheating right? That's the one I called 'Chinese Mall Billboard', and I usually parachute to that one when I first approach LV. The one on that balcony inside the Chinese Mall can be reached by bicycle and a mega-hop.

No, no. My apologies go out to you! Last night, after I logged off I realised that you could actually use your method for the 250 minute challenge. I was under the impression you were referring solely to the 60 minute challenge for some reason.

Meet Katie Challenge:

I recently toyed around with this one. Thing is, you'll have to either work out more than once or collect all oysters before you'll get her number. Going to the gym once (to build muscle) before meeting her plus driving a nearly undamaged Bullet (for higher sex-appeal) doesn't work. In a new game you can't buy clothes, haircuts or tattoos to further raise your sex-appeal, so I think it's down to building muscle at the gym.
