cacarla
so ofcourse i need to give some hints. No need for that, mate. That's the challenge- to find out how it can be done without any hints. Anyway, it's ok. Thanks for clearing that up, Radicell, We still can do 2 tags in a in-game one minute. The one on the bridge going over GSF and one near the gym . Ahh yes, well the challenge involves doing tags within one hour of starting a new game, in which case we spawn at Jefferson the nearest spray can is in Las Colinas. I'm on CNY vacation, so I might have time tomorrow to start one of the "do a storyline with just certain weapons" challenges.
GTA Phreak
Also, regarding the Tag challenge, is that 1 hour according to real-life/ your home time or the game time? If it's in-game, then it's just nothing but 1 minute. Real life 1 hour, of course. In game-time it would be impossible to complete any tags in 1 "hour". If you're referring to the snapshot challenge, - then I think that OrionSR and I completed that before Zoom even thought of it. OrionSR did it in 11:03, which was a lot quicker than I: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3400919476121480254 Spoiler!

You and Orion definitely beat me on that… I first played San Andreas in August, 2006, and I didn’t start using any of the forms until about four months after that, and you guys had already mastered the game by then. They’re actually talking about Gang Tags though, not Snapshots.
radicell
So I've started the Can you complete the storyline of San Andreas, but where you limit yourself to weapons you only get from a pickup location only when a mission requires it? challenge, and it's all about preserving bullets. I've passed Sweet's Girl without shooting a single bullet, but while doing Cesar Vialpando mission, I got a dance score of over 5000.
flicko
Nice going, radicell, in both the challenges you have successfully completed! And it's also nice to know you're going to be attempting one of the more enduring challenges. All contributions to this point have been added, the table is shaping up pretty nicely. radicell
And it's also nice to know you're going to be attempting one of the more enduring challenges. Yep! So far I've finished a bunch of missions and it is quite challenging. Nines and AK's left me with 9mm ammo and OG Loc left me with MicroSMG ammo, so I think I'm good to go for the upcoming shootout missions (Just Business, Grey Imports, Reuniting the Families, etc.. In one case I "accidentally" picked up some ammo on the street during a mission. I had downed an enemy and the weapon he dropped spawned right where I was standing. In this case, I shot away all the excess ammo so that I was back to before I had picked up the ammo, so that I'd still comply with the rules of this challenge. That's going to happen sometimes, like when you're using a melee weapon, especially a chainsaw where you are running right through people. I'm usually a bit of stickler for the use of spoiler tags, but there is a header warning any SA newbies about the potential for spoilers. Their use here is strictly optional. Keep us informed on how your weapon challenge is doing, radicell. And keep it up everyone, looks like this taking off a little faster than the Vice City "Can you do it...?" challenges. Any VC players are welcome to go join in there too. "You tell me exactly what you want, and I'll explain to you very carefully why it cannot be." !!GC!!
Haha, yeah. I've just been trying that, X45, i only got to 29 myself. I think the next time i go through, im going to try ridiculously slowly, not going for the time bonus.
lazy34
5 Star wanted level rampages are good and all, but can you do them with 3 Grove Street members with you and get all of them back home safely at the end?
radicell
My limited-weapons challenge is now in the Badlands stage. I've got 3/4 Catalina missions done. After The Green Sabre, I've lost all my weapons, so right now I have a camera from Badlands and shotgun shells from Small Town Bank. Against All Odds is going to give me satchel charges, and the burning down the Truth's weed mission will give me RPG missiles. That will be all the weapons I'm going to have to get me through the SF missions.

Is that a seperate challenge proposal? Or a question regarding the current challenge? If it is the latter, then yeah, if you deem it necessary then go for it. I've already tried doing these rampages with Grove Street members but I've never timed how long I could last. I was just wondering if anybody else was interested in trying. I hate to see the homies inactive, but I also hate to see them die, especially with all the funny stuff they say in the car.

I've added the challenge, and credited you with completing it, but it would nice to see a detailed (or not so) method, to help when I provide the link in the table. lazy34, Gotcha, and I've composed a seperate challenge for it- How long can you survive with a five star (minimum) wanted level with three of your Grove Street members, without any of them dying? !!GC!!
Can you jump from rooftop to rooftop in LS downtown using the NRG-500, without falling off? flicko
It was posted here by 860. I really should have specified in the table how many jumps you are required to make(6, will do this now). But as this challenge is 860's, and I'm pretty lost on it myself, it would be better if he were to tell us the exact details. I'm sure he'll view this topic, but if you can't wait PM him. 123robot
I'll have a go at doing the Taxi challenge. (Do all 50 taxi fares in a row without having to use a Pay'n'Spray.) It sounds easy enough. EDIT: I accidently pressed the 2 button and it ended the mission. Is it ok if I could restart the mission in the same taxi? EDIT 2: It doesn't matter anymore. It forced me touse the Pay'n'Spray but my car was not yet destroyed. I don't know how many fares I did, but I know definatley did more then everyone else. My guess would be 35 or lower, but it was higher then 29. EDIT 3: Ok, i'm not entirely sure how many fares I did but I know it was definatley between 33 and 38. Yes, if you fail one attempt, but still have hold of your Taxi, then you can take it for a re-spray to get it in tip-top condition, and try again, I'm sure nobody will have any objections to this. I stocked up on ammo for my 9mm at Ammu-Nation, got armor and went in. Tried to get more headshots and take them out faster but other than that it was just using my head and keeping under cover. It took a long time to take down Smoke but eventually I wore his armor down and killed him. Then getting out it was pretty much the same thing as before. I did do the firefighter missions and the paramedic so I had max health and he was fireproof so that helped. Nonetheless, I made it out with a flashing health bar and about 20% armor. Then I used the sub machine gun in the car and that was it .

I'll object. If you are at, say, 25 in one Taxi and end the mission, spray the same Taxi and resume, you'll do another 25 and it'll force you to stop because you have done 50 total fares. So, it isn't exactly fair. If you 'accidently' end one mission, you'll have to start again from previous save because it'll keep the ones you did and only let you get to 50 before finishing. Ok, yeah, i might ask him. Here are two challenges i thought of recently: 1. Get highest score possible in Kickstart with two flat tires. 2. Get as many points as you can in Kickstart, within 1 minute. (For #1, you can pop the two tires before you hop on so you dont waste any time.) Is it not like completing taxi fares in Vice City, where you can opt to carry on if you wish? I thought that, even after 50 fares had been completed, you could still carry on, my mistake, I'll revoke that ruling. Just to be sure; It has to be one straight attempt, if you fail you will have to re-load your game and start from scratch. I'll be adding your challenges in now. Oh and X45, your method's been added. flicko
Looks like I misinterpreted the challenge, which is this- Can you complete all required Taxi fares in one straight attempt, without the use of Pay 'N' Spray? All required means the first set of 50, I was under the impression the challenge was to just complete 50 fares in a row, regardless of whether they are required or not. So, to answer 123robot's question again; No, I'm afraid you cannot re-start the challenge in the same Taxi, after you have already failed in an attempt. You must re-load your game, since that will then bring your total cumulative taxi fares down to zero, and make it suitable for the challenge. Sorry about the confusion.
