@flicko: Go ahead and add your version of the minimal kill challenge. It's your challenge thread after all, and I really don't have the right to prevent you from setting up any challenge you want to set up.  For the sake of the challenge, you might want to clarify what you mean by "Storyline", though -- all missions that involve walking into a red marker to set off? (In which case missions like "Breaking the Bank at Caligua" are mandatory) Only those missions necessary to complete into order to get to the mission "End of the Line"? (In which case missions like "Breaking the Bank at Caligua" are not[/not] necessary.

Thanks, I'll be sure to do that. By completing the storyline, I meant that completing the least amount of missions in order to unlock the final mission, so more-so that latter. I've got this challenge ongoing for Vice City, as I've stated, and know exactly what it takes to complete the storyline of the game in the quickest time possible. Hell, I even made a guide about it, here. I'm not going to add radicell's attempt into the table, because he didn't complete the challenge in this topic, and it will also give radicell the opportunity to give this challenge another go if he has the time.

In regards to completing Paramedic missions, yes, you can do that if you want. You don't have to limit yourself to only completing the storyline, anything that may help you or be beneficial to you is perfectly fine.

Exactly.

I've done it in a Dodo, Shamal, Hydra, Rustler and Beagle, so if you want people to try it in an AT-400, then specify.

I imagine it'll be easy to not get wasted or Busted, you can just reload. Not sure about the armour part though.

Sounds like a tough, and decent challenge. But as is the case with the minimal kill challenge, how do you feel about the popularity of this challenge? Completing the game all the way to 100% is no easy task, even when you aren't restricting yourself. I'm just a little skeptical about how many people will attempt this. Maybe, as with the case with the minimal kill challenge, we have two separate challenges? Both with the same restrictions, but in one you only have to complete the storyline of San Andreas, as opposed to completing the game 100%.

Exactly.

just land near or close to the bridge(or try to land on the bridge)

The use of cheat codes and modifications is strictly prohibited for the purpose of this topic, however, since what you are asking for will not make the challenge any easier, anybody who wants to try this in the Andromeda can go ahead. Unless of course, people disagree with this...?

This is how I did it, as Katie likes her men to be healthy, you need to first go to the beach gym to get the muscle she like's, then I swam across from Blueberry, and nabbed a Sanchez; then I headed for the train tunnels all the way to SF staying near tracks till you get to the location of where the Bullet spawns(its needed to give you the sex appeal Katie like's, have flowers in hand, and park as close to her as possible( this gives you sex appeal when close to/ or in a hot car), she will except you , as you are being shot, you'll live, get back in Bullet after she say's" I'll call you" then get the heck outta dodge(SF) an go the same way back, as there are a number of police bribe's in an around Blueberry, its very doable an was fun...you now have Katie as GF and she will see to it that your weapons are returned... if ever your wasted.

 

edit: I picked up Armour along the way to outdoor beach gym.

edit2:on second try; not having flowers did not matter.

 

note: collecting all oysters is possible, GF's can't resist if CJ has em all.but I found it very hard; and much time...that maybe a good challenge.

From starting a new game, can you complete up to at least level 12 on the Vigilante Mission before saving or doing any of the story missions, without getting wasted or busted?

 

Dude ... is text editing considered modding ? Because everytime I start a new game, I complete Sweet & Kendl, Big Smoke and Ryder and then save and exit. Then find the weapon.dat in the data folder of San Andreas, change the damage of the MP5 from 25 to 500 attack-points, gather lots of (around 900) ammo from the SMG and Machine-pistol spawns in Los Santos and easily complete the Vigilante (Vehicles blow up in 2 shots). Also shooting from a HPV-1000 takes lots of time to gain wanted level, at the most 3 stars. Ofcourse, then I save and restore the MP5 Damage to 25 again.

 

Anyways, if you need to do it without even one mission, simply gather MP5 ammo, nick a cop bike, find a star (One in Ganton and other in Vagos territory), complete the Vigilante, drive to the carpark in Los Flores, grab the NRG 500, rush to a pay-n-spray (open from beginning) ... done

 

Edit : Oh, I forgot ... I also pick-up the armor that spawns behind Sweet's house

Yeah, cheating defeats the entire purpose of the challenge. If you give yourself an unfair advantage in regards to successfully completing challenges, then it will be deemed as cheating and your attempted challenge will not be added to the table on the first page.

 

You've got to complete each challenge without cheating or using any sort of modification/code or the likes. You can't expect me to approve of your method when you've gained an unfair advantage, completely wiping out a huge challenging factor.

 

If you have done the challenge fairly (what you were touching up on in your last sentence), then by all means, post up your method.

Hey guys, im back.

I was planning to do the challenge,

 

Can you drive a vehicle and complete this course, without ever leaving your vehicle, and holding down 'Accelerate' the whole way through?

 

Then I realised that the map was hosted at isarapix, which is down for good.

So either make a new map, or remove that cahllenge.

Did you look on Sweets house roof and the roof behind CJ's momma house. Keep looking there's plenty of weapons around.

Tough break there buddy; it's always annoying when something like that happens to me, especially after I'd put in so much effort and committed so much time to complete an emergency side mission.

 

Keep plugging at it and I'm sure that you'll nail the challenge in no time!

Well, since it's "Can You Do It?", I'd go with the first one. I'd say a time alotment of 24 minutes which is equal to one day in the game.

How did you fare out buddy? You only needed to survive for a further ten minutes to successfully complete this challenge -

 

Can you survive with a 5* (minimum) Wanted level for in excess of 250 minutes?

 

Also, if you wouldn't mind, what exactly did you do to survive for so long? I'm sure I'm not the only member here who would like to hear of your explanation to the challenge.

here is the walkthrough of what I did, I fought them in Doherty, running back and forth through the wastegrounds and cranberry station, then whenever I needed to go get something to eat I ran as fast as I could to the firetruck and went to the Burger Shot in Hashbury, then whenever I left the burger shot I put my combat shotgun on and shot all the cops outside the building, then ran like hell to the firetruck and came back to the station then started fighting again, also this was done BEFORE the homies were back so they gave no help to me. I got killed attempting to steal a hydra at area 69 (I had something super bullsh*t happen, I got hit as in rammed by another hydra right before I started to fly off, so I jumped out and it wouldnt let me use my parachute). And it was an excess of 250 minutes, it was 262:31.

Wouldnt I be under the "60 without hiding where cops cant get you" too? As I said I was actually fighting them when I was running back and forth.

 

EDIT: Nevermind, I used the minigun to blow up the enemies vehicles.
