I can't communicate with anyone else that isn't a professional coder and doesn't know this incite side. There is no patch right around the corner, unless it will fix minor bugs. This game is messed up, and it works and doesn't work, maybe depending on hardware and it's codded that way. But if Rockstar will make a patch that makes people happy it won't happen for a while. It takes a LONG LONG time to program hardware around a game. They were much better off sticking with the general way to do it and increase from there. I hope sometime in the future there will be a patch and I won't be browsing the forums anymore. Looking for: Patch is comming, PATCH IS HERE! Goodluck to all, I hope Rockstar can do it, but next time Rockstar, do it the right way and don't piss me off. Nearlly ALL issues are fixed with sli support and they have implemented AA which is great news. Multiplayer dedicated server support with Punkbuster!!!! finally!. Game has been optimized to run on min spec pcs with 20-30 fps boost depending on your hardware. Cant wait till feb! Patch weighs in around 178mb Punkbuster would make this game worse. Punkbuster like kicks randomly and everytime you go into a server you have to turn your mods off / make your files legit. and that sounds like bs lol It is no doubt punkbuster will make the game worse, and people still cheat around punkbuster. They just crack punkbuster. Give us real server support and we will just ban the cheaters. Simple as that, if you play ranked, well sorry boys, but ranked has cheaters everywhere. They just fixed some extra issues to make it look like they were coming out with a useful patch anyway. SO, we need a Hot HOT Coffee mod for GTA4. Saying that a patch shouldn't happen because YOU don't need it is inconsiderate and self-centered. If the game works great for you now, congratulations, you are in the vast minority. But give consideration to most of us having problems with the game who would BENEFIT from a patch. You're just being silly, otherwise. In the famous words of Steve Jobs: "stick your Pentium up yer smelly bum" Nowhere did I claim the patch shouldn't happen, Reading isn't your best quality either apparently.
