Allegro Posted April 13, 2009 Share Posted April 13, 2009 Ok so just as a reminder: -open these ports: TCP 80 - 80 TCP 53 - 53 UDP 53 - 53 TCP 1096 - 1096 UDP 1096 - 1096 UDP 88 - 88 TCP 3074 - 3074 UDP 3074 - 3074 TCP 2074 - 2074 UDP 2074 - 2074 (if at the end it still doesnt work also try these: UDP 6672 - 6672 UDP 28900 - 28900 TCP 8001 - 8001 TCP 27900 - 27900) -enable Upnp in router and firewall. -grant acces to GTA IV and RGSC in your firewall. -turn your router off (really pull out the cable for half a minute) and turn it back on. hanli1995 Posted April 26, 2009 Share Posted April 26, 2009 F***in Ok, I opened all the ports but it didn't work, SO i disabled Xfire, all my firewalls and then DMZ my router, which opens every single port on the router. It still doesnt work, I just don't get what I am doing wrong. I am on Vista, UPnp is enabled it still doesnt work, this is really annoying. This should do the trick. So do I add these ports seperately with different names or add them all into one bundle? I'm using a netgear router... Same problem here and it's really killing me... -opened all ports -upnp enabled -anti-virus and anti-spy disabled -disabled firewall -did everything according to Allegro -even stuck it in dmz ...And still getting kicked in my own lobby/unable to join game Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
fanerose Posted July 26, 2009 Share Posted July 26, 2009 Man.... the same thing here on ps3!! NAT/router too restricted... blablabla.... I can connect, but am constantly thrown off... What a bi... And don't tell me that the router this or that or my connection this or that, because all of my other games have no probs at all to be played! So these problems are definitely due to a bad multiplayer programming! For such a nice game it's really a shame that didn't put effort in making this smooth!
