chinagreenelvis
Yes, I'd like to know why when I play in a ranked match on GTA IV for the Xbox 360, I can be no less than ten feet away from someone, unload an entire clip into them and not leave damn scratch while anyone three blocks down the street so much fires a gun in my general direction and I instantly die. Armor certainly doesn't help. Two shots and I'm f*cking dead. No matter the f*ck what. As far as I know we're all playing with the same goddamned controllers, right? We all play by putting the little circle with the dot inside it over our opponents faces and pulling the trigger, don't we? It's as if I'm gunbattling with rubber bullets against invincible crackshots. Seriously. What. The. Heck?
Rewdalf
Lag GTA junkies Maybe you can't aim... All I've got. Also Auto Aim is a big factor. Some servers have it set to "allowed" and it definatly makes a difference.
chngdman
Probably cheaters...
mr_bungle
Go for their head. Always works.
ItWasntMe
Like most online games, don't aim like you would in single player, pffline play. Look where they're running, aim a head of them, and for god sake keep moving, and duck when you can. Use cover and never drive if Auto-Aim is on! buzbegone
Hacking is transporting over to the PC I've noticed that invisible hacking is taking place, all it is modding weaponinfo.xml so the weapon can reach great distances and/or have unlimited ammo with no reloading Almost unnoticeable Edited January 20, 2009 by buzbegone

ItWasntMe
Are people cheating on multiplayer then? On 360 or PS3 as well?
Pantheon
Are people cheating on multiplayer then? On 360 or PS3 as well? Seems to be a PC only problem...like many others, too.
Nitty Don
Its possible to adapt your controllers to cheat on consoles but not heard of any one able to hack or mod the game yet exept on PC
computergeek
Hacking is transporting over to the PCI've noticed that invisible hacking is taking place, all it is modding weaponinfo.xml so the weapon can reach great distances and/or have unlimited ammo with no reloading Almost unnoticeable is there any validity in this statement? I dunno. Just curious. I know that there are instances where you can see the target and shoot him but he's out of range... until today... when i got my ass served to me in a 1 on 1 death match. 1 kill, 10 deaths. I was shocked that he could snipe me literally where i spawned. (and boy did i spawn far away) I always thought the sniper rifle was rather obsolete in the sense that it can only hit targets as far as away as the assault rifle, but apparently not. So now as i nurse my wounds, its always a privilege to be able to scream HAX!
