[RELEASE] Mega SuperJump Script

This is a complete rewrite of my superjump/dig lua script. The features available in the lua script are also available in this release, but this release has so much more and it's much more stable. It's all thanks to HazardX and his .NET ScriptHook, without it this wouldn't be possible.

This script gives quite a few more options from the lua script. Some of the new options are:

- Infinite Health/Armor/Ammo

- Niko Fling (ragdoll toggle)

- Speed Increase (travel faster than vehicles while on foot)

- Configurable hotkeys and options

NEW in v1.1:

- Added Niko's current vehicle to the infinite health/invincibility functions.

- Fixed the problem of the invincibility overwriting other trainers/scripts. Set the hotkey used to 0 in the "sjsettings.ini" file to completely disable it.

NEW in v1.2:

- Now works for game version v1.0.2.0.

- Added a time scale AKA bullet time option.

NEW in v1.3:

- Added some new features and more selections for the infinite health/invincibilty option.

- Fixed the issue when infinite health for the vehicle is enabled and attempting a drive-by.

- Now when infinite health is enabled for the vehicle, it will only apply when the vehicle loses health.

- Now when player invincibility is enabled, you will no longer fly out of the vehicle when hitting a solid object at full speed.

- Fixed the problem of the bullet time option overwriting other trainers/scripts. Set the hotkey used to 0 in the "sjsettings.ini" file to completely disable it.

NEW in v1.4:

- Updated to work with the new scripthook version.

- Added more features to the bullet time option. Now you can have it with gravity on or off.

- Infinite Health/Invincibility functions now work for group members as well.

- Now when player invincibility is enabled, Niko will no longer become tired after sprinting for awhile.

- Now when player invincibility is enabled, the vehicle you attempt to enter will already be owned by you. No hotwire, no cops.

NEW in v1.5:

- Fixed some issues when fully disabling a used key in the INI file.

- Added a self-flying script addon. Hancock style.

NEW in v1.6:

- Fixed the player invincibility feature a bit. Now all doors will be unlocked for vehicles when enabled. You can also jack cop cars!

- Added mouse turning to the self-flying script addon, with or without holding the Aim button.

- Added flame trails to the self-flying script addon. You can toggle it on or off even without flying.

- Added a car-attach/ride script addon. Ride on top of vehicles without falling.

- Added an invisibility feature to the car-attach/ride script. Cops ignore you and, also works for group members and/or vehicles.

- Improved the SuperJump2 and Speed Increase features.

NEW in v1.7:

- Updated to work with new game version and scripthook.

- Added a flamethrower script, complete with spread shot addon.

- Added a model change script and an animation player.

- Added a wanted level feature to the mix.

- Fixed the infinite ammo to where now you also have no reload when enabled.

- Improved the SuperJump2 feature which plays an animation when falling rather than hitting the ground as a ragdoll.

- Improved the self-flying script addon, now plays an idle animation when flying rather than the falling animation.

NEW in v1.8:

- Updated to work with v1.0.7.0 and new scripthook.

- Changed the flamethrower script, some weapons became buggy after the update.

- Removed flames (fire effects) from all scripts. Also due to buggyness.

The new feature I'd like to point out is the ability to configure your hotkeys, weapons, and values to anything you want. This gives the script complete customization and grants you complete control of how the script will perform.

The keys are assigned the numerical representation of the respective VK enum. I've included a text file with a listing of all available keys, incase some of you don't know the numerical value of the key you'd like to use.

The values and weapons also give you control over how the script will perform. You can change the values to suit your needs, even though the defaults should be just fine. The weapons can be changed according to the weapon indexes. I've also included a text file with all the weapon indexes as well for people who can't find them.

NOTE: You can change the options during gameplay without exiting the game. After you've saved any changes, simply reload the game and the changes will take effect. Alternately, you can toggle the scripthook console and type the command 'reloadscripts' to reload them without reloading the game.

Infinite Health/Invincibility Info:

This feature now has quite a few more options. First of all, you can cycle these options forward and in reverse by use of the CTRL key. If you want to cycle forward simply press this hotkey alone, however, if you wish to cycle in reverse just hold the CTRL key while pressing this hotkey. I also changed how it assigns the properties to Niko and his vehicle. There are two main differences in these properties, single and dual. Single means the property will only be assigned to Niko, and dual means that it will be assigned to both Niko and his vehicle. The available options are:

Normal: Returns Niko's health/armor/ammo/invincibility status back to normal. Also restores your current vehicle back to normal.

Single Infinite Health/Armor/Ammo: Freezes them at max so you never lose any.

Dual Infinite Health/Armor/Ammo: This will repair and wash your vehicle anytime it receives any damage.

Single Invincibility: AKA Godmode. With this enabled you will NEVER die. You will also never fall off bikes or out of vehicles (unless you open the door).

Single Invincibility With Helmet: Same as single invincibility, except you're always wearing the crash helmet.

Dual Invincibility: This will set you and your vehicle invincible, no physical or visual damage.

Dual Invincibility With Helmet: Same as dual invincibility, except you're always wearing the crash helmet.

Dual Invincibility Color Change: Same as dual invincibility, except your current vehicle's colors will randomly change.

Dual Invincibility Color Change With Helmet: Same as dual invincibility color change, except you're always wearing the crash helmet.

To Install:

First you will need to obtain a copy of HazardX's .NET ScriptHook. After you've installed the .NET ScriptHook simply copy the /scripts folder to the GTAIV root folder.

Optional: If you choose to use the default values, you don't need to copy the "sjsettings.ini" file. However, if you do intend to change some things, you need to copy the "sjsettings.ini" file to the same location as the script, to the <GTAIVROOT>/scripts folder.

Requirements:

One of the following installations:

- GTAIV (v1.0.1.0 - v1.0.7.0)

- EFLC (v1.1.1.0 - v1.1.2.0)

OK first off good job, it works really nice, the velocity jump feels much more natural than the coord one and the forward speed amplification is also perfect, thus I conclude that this is the best "jump" mod... as such.

The problem.

The "Infinite Health/Armor/Ammo" thing is totally useless, and it overpowers the native trainer's own functionality, mainly the invulnerability option it has.

If you could just release a version without that, it would be greatly appreciated.

The suggestions.

The fact that now you don't hang in mid-air with one of the bullet-time/low-grav combo mods thanks to the velocity increasers in this one, jumping from skyscraper to skyscraper is easy, and fun. HOWEVER, getting the angle just right is a b*tch, and if you scrape a scraper you might miss and go ragdolling with mad speed into the streets (fun, but still...).

So I would suggest a simple turning option (like left-right). The best thing would be, of course, if you could actually make the forward motion go the way you look, but that would take longer to figure out, so it might just be better to have simple left-right buttons.

Other than that I've nothing to complain (save some random crashes of the game at the beginning, thanks to the hook and/or this specific .dll, but they're neglectable), it's rather fun to zoom through the roofs of LC...

The thing about the infinite health/armor/ammo is that you don't have to enable it. I made it togglable for a reason ya know. tounge.gif I don't use the native trainer which is why I added the invincibility and stuff to this script. It will allow the people who don't use any other trainers or whatever to experience the script to it's full potential without dying too frequently. Of course people who do use the native trainer can simply disregard the hotkey or turn it off altogether. If you change the hotkey used to 0 it will be as if the feature doesn't even exist.

The positional jump works much better in FPS games than in 3rd person, that's the reason I added the velocity only superjump. The main differences is the positional jump is used to stop from ragdoll falling and gives you easier access to harder to reach places. If you use only the velocity jump and reach a point where you can't go any higher, simply use the positional jump to proceed through the obstruction and continue onward. biggrin.gif

I've already thought about the speed increase and there's not much I can do about it now. The force multiplier modifies both x and y velocity which is why when you hit something you go flying in the opposite direction. I would have to add 4 more hotkeys; forward, back, left, and right. Even then it won't act according as expectations because I can only modify the x and y velocities. This means that you will only travel in a set direction according to what keys pressed which is much different from increasing the speed in the direction in which the camera is facing. The only thing I can suggest is to tap the hotkey to achieve the desired speed rather than holding it down. You can also modify the multiplier so it doesn't increase the speed as rapidly when in ragdoll mode.

I have to agree, flying around LC without a vehicle is pretty nice. Just jump high in the air, switch to ragdoll mode, and hold the speed key. You'll be in the next city before you know it. biggrin.gif

Yes, I know the technicality is a bit weird to get used to until perfection is achieved with this engine, but I don't really complain about the MAIN function of the mod, on the contrary, I've been playing around more with it and it does indeed feel... right, you know? I love it.

But I digress, the reason I kindly ask for a version without the health thing, is that the trainer's function get's disabled right out, your mod's option just cancels the trainer's, it doesn't matter if it's activated or not, the trainer's just won't work. Maybe it's just my configuration and/or other factors, but if you would test dualcore's trainer and your mod at the same time, maybe you'd see what I mean.

Anyway, I like it regardless of that minor glitch, I just wanted the trainer's godmode because it lasts through cut-scenes and such.

On a side note, when zipping through the air in high-speed and ragdolled, the fact that you go feet-first and gun arm flailing behind is rather fun.

The reason my script overwrites the trainer's invincibility is because it's constantly applying it. If you enable it, it will make you invincible even after cutscenes so there's really no difference except that you're leaving it disabled.

I updated the script and now if you really want to disable the invincibility, simply set the used hotkey to 0.

Great Mod! I have a question , I am using an controller for GTAIV PC and I was wondering would it be possible to map the keys to the controller ?

Good question. I don't think it's possible unless you remap your controller buttons to the keyboard keys. You can use a program like Xpadder to do that.

I'll look into it and see if it's possible.

CoMPMStR. I was just wondering cause it would be hard to press the space button while pressing x on the controller. Awesome mod probably will end up using it anyway.

Edit: CoMPMStR do you think you could make the buttons toggle ? That way you can have speed on and always have the player run fast until you chose to disable it. I will test

The reason I didn't make the buttons toggle is because their effects might be too much if enabled too long in some cases.

If the velocity jump was constantly enabled like the positional jump you would go up way too fast. Same with the speed increase, the maximum speed you can reach is higher in ragdoll mode than normally. So that means that you may be traveling at max speed while Niko still has control, but once he goes ragdoll he will start to fly horizontally at max speed (and he'll never stop until it's disabled). Even when you are in a vehicle, and hold down the speed increase, you need to release it every once in awhile or you will just start doing flips in the air. confused.gif

For the speed increase, it's best to hold it at first to get started then tap it to keep a steady reasonably momentum. For the velocity jump, it's best to press it each time you need to go higher.

If it's really necessary I'll upload a togglable replacement dll so you can test. Let me know.

UPDATE: I tested it out with this mod and see what you are saying. After super speed is held down for so long it becomes unstable. Thanks for the hardwork.

All of your mods are awesome do you have anymore you plan on releasing in the near future that you can talk about ?

Thanks that would be awesome. I understand what you are saying with the effects of it being left on to long. I will probably never use ragdoll. The most I will use is super speed and super jump 2 every once in a while.

All of your mods are awesome do you have anymore you plan on releasing in the near future that you can talk about ?

Well even if you don't use ragdoll, he will still go into ragdoll mode if he's falling for too long.

I'm working on a spawner script right now. It's going to spawn peds and vehicles with peds in them. It'll also spawn weapons and money when it's implemented into the ScriptHook. I'm trying to work on some different ped tasks when you spawn them. As of now you can set the peds to just stand still, fight niko, or flee from niko. I'm trying to make a new option flee from player and trip, this will make them flee and after a certain time they will go into ragdoll mode and just fall over. lol.gif It works when you spawn a few peds at a time but if you try to spawn 4 or more there may be a chance that all of them don't fall over. Also when you have them set to stand still, they may still run if you drop a grenade in the middle of them. confused.gif They don't run, however, if you get in a vehicle and decide to just plow right though them. happy.gif Still trying to work on fixing those little problems before I release it.

I just tried the toggle version and it syncs the keyboard controls up with the controller. The jump buttons makes you super jump , while pressing the run button repeatedly sends you into super fast running. The controls are uncontrollable usually sending him into ragdoll motion and instead of running straight he beings to travel to the left . Eventhough it didn't work the toggle version is worth trying out with a controller just to watch Niko's death, he hits a wall fast and continue for the entire graytone death scene bouncing off buildings. One time he bounced from city to city traveling over the water and through the city. He never lands so you will have to press continue to get past the scene , but it was totally hilarious. Thanks for doing this and being so kind about it. You get the thumbs up from me. The ped mod sounds awesome. I wonder if it is a way to speed up Niko's running in the files somewhere like in GTA:SA for the PS2.

Hey I have an idea.. It would be good to have a key for velocity decrease, to be more accurate when we move at superspeed, no ?

If you want to decrease speed, simply release the hotkey. If you want to stop completely, press the dig hotkey just once.

This is not compatible with the bullet time mod.. can you please fix it? I love this mod.

Thanks!  smile.gif

What do you mean not compatible? This script has it's own built in bullet time feature (read the readme). You can always change the hotkey but since I use Xliveless I set it to the Home key. With this one, you can even change how fast or slow the bullet time affects your game. biggrin.gif

When I use the bullet time mod of Hippie, everything is still fast..

lol.gif I was trying to tell you that you don't need another bullet time mod when you use this script. You can just change the key to something other than Home.

Anyway, it's fixed now. You still have to change the hotkey to 0 if you want to disable it. confused.gif

Alright, well, I like this mod, but there are several truly annoying things..

All your infinite health, ammo, etc, cheats are on the same keys needed to navigate the phone, so, every time I mess with the phone, its toggling options on this mod..

Those are the games default keys(UP, LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT), don't overwrite those, people use them.

Also, why are these keys, UP, LEFT, RIGHT, DOWN, HOME, DELETE, END, PGUP, INSERT, and PGDOWN, hardcoded to the health/ammo/armor feature..

You're using 10 keys for something that only needs one, all 10 keys do the exact same thing.. (There might be more, I haven't noticed yet, did you put them on the num-pad too??)

Next, the bullet time toggle, you need to make them two separate keys for the two separate modes, gravity/no gravity.. Each a simple on/off switch...

And ALL the keys should be configurable..

This mod has some awesome features, I like it, but as it is, I can't use it, it conflicts with GTAIV's default keys, it conflicts with other mods keys, it waste at least 10 keys, on a feature that doesn't work, btw..

Your infinite health code is broken, or not working for me at least... The ammo part works though..

Sorry if I seem rude, or like a dick, but the mod did exactly what I wanted it to do, I was enjoying it, but these things ruined it for me..
