Girish
Is there a gta_sa.set file in the User Files folder? If yes, delete it. Also, see if there are any updates for your video drivers.
640509-040147
Go to Start Menu > Run > dxdiag.exe. Now go to each tab of the window and test everything from Sound Drivers and Display drivers to DirectInput drivers. It will tell you if there is any problem. Also enable checking of WHQL Digital signatures.
radioman
I had the same problem with the Scarface game when I installed it on my laptop, and all I had to do was up date the DX 9 by installing it from the SA disc(it is the 3rd selection on the disc menu). So try installing DX 9.0c from the SA disc and see if that fixes it, because more than likely, there is a missing DX file, as was my case that time. Hope this helps.
