Revengers Tragedy copter bug

Hi all, so im at the end of the game. ive blown through all the goons and done the boat chase several several times. however when i get to the copter and take over theres a series problem. the camera doesnt sort of locks up and the controls are pretty unresponsive out of my 10 or so tries i usually lose dimitri or crash as i cant see where im going or control the damn thing. only twice have i got close to getting them firstly their copter crashed but the mission failed when i landed to attack them and secondly i was flying pretty high and just managing to follow them and all of a suddon the copter dropped out of the sky and into a wall and destroyed itself! i know im not the only one with this bug but im just wondering if anyones managed to find a fix for it or has any suggestions as this is really annoying!!!
