papanesta
Not as early as the topics before yours. I'll leave this one, seeing as that looks like a new trailer. EDIT: And yeah, sh*t song in the first trailer, awesome one in the second. But I think it looks brilliant fun. Just what the rest of them have been. Andyzoot
Hehe, I love Vin Diesel's laugh in the first trailer they released. Dumb but fun, probably will be a rental for me.
DeeperRed
The first three sucked so much ass, I have completely lost faith. Everything in the movie is bad and cliched. The Directing, The Acting, The diologue.. the story or the lack off one. Seriously, I want to know who the hell there writers are because I am thinking hyped up 10 year olds who drank abit too much cola. 3 was defianlty the worst, Why center a 12A film around Yakuza and why write with such little knowlegde of the gang. Just remember kids, If you f*ck with the Yakuzu, racing them isn't going to stop them from killing you Can't wait for this serious sh*t to die off hopfuly along with the "Epic Movie" sort of crap and hopefully High School Musical (Good luck with that leaving), Step up and all the other movies that wear thin af 10 minutes of horrible written diologue and storys so thin and lacking substance. There is only a handful of movies I have enjoyed where the diologue and story is bad and there were saved by there unique direction, Namly Transporter (1,2), Shoot em up and I can't think of any others I will go and see it none the less becuase last time I had a great time laughing at TFTF3, its was so sh*t it was funnier then most comedies

I thought 1 was less worse then 2 I didn't enjoy any of them but 3 just took the bucket on stupidness. I don't what the writter had done for research about the Yukuza but he was very far off what they are like and there ethics of buissness In my opinion its these sort of films that put down the moie bussiness. If the world was a perfect place with no war then all the films realeased would have the same script and direction qualities of Dark Knight, SlumDog Millionioare, Pulp Fition, OldBoy I could go on Anywway I hope it doesn't let down you TFTF fans Edited January 19, 2009 by DeeperRed
The Unvirginiser
I know what you're saying DeeperRed, the first one was definatly cliche'd and poorly written - but it wasn't without it's charm. I think Holloywood has realised this and gone back to that, If it's an improvment on number one then I'll go and see it.
Ronnyboy
I liked 2 better then 1, but this looks to be a good movie. Probably will be a cliched mess, filled with tuners, and crappy acting. But this looks to be a good reunion, as when I saw Vin in the end of 3, I knew there had to be a sequel with him.

And stop going on about the writers. If they had based the movie around the real Yakuza, it would be really f*cking boring. A bunch of old Asian guys going over papers and owning businesses? No thanks. Some of the worst films probably looked really good on paper, but without personality they're nothing. And seriously, you have a cheek to go on about writing. I'll take you seriously when you're not so dyslexic. "took the bucket on stupidness"? Come on. Tokyo Drift > 1 >

Xo4
I agree with Pap. at least the first and third were f*cking fun to watch. So what if half the sh*t isn't real. Isn't that part of the point of movies is to somewhat escape from reality? I'll probably see this just for fun, not be one of those pricks in the theater...THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE, BECAUSE THE CAR.... dre91
This is a movie I'm looking forward to. I expect to see some good action here and it's good that Vin Diesel, one of my fav action movie actors, is back.
Creed Bratton
These movies are bad, I agree. But sometimes we need these kind of movies. And as much as I think Vin Diesel is a bad actor, I've seen most of his movies, and because they are pumped with action I like them sometimes. Like papanesta said, some sh*tty movies are fun to watch (Steven Seagal, JCVD, Vin f*ckin' Diesel)... Second one was a disaster. I actually think 3rd one was the best. The main guy wasn't that idiot from the first two movies so that was a HUGE plus. Also, Michelle Rodriguez is hot in a dangerous kinda way, but she can't act for sh*t. I'd like to see her in a porn though. I've always had a thing for Latina chicks... Edited January 20, 2009 by GTAvanja

tuff_luv_capo
Tokyo Drift would have been freaking amazing without slingblade and lil bow wow. I would rather have Shia Ledouche and Wayne Brady than those two. However, the DK and his 350z were insurmountably bad-ass, until he lost his balls to a blasphemed mustang in front of his father at the end. One of the many movies where I rooted for the bad guys from the very beginning. This upcoming movie holds a special place in my heart, because Paul is driving the new STI, a car I had a down on until it was recalled temporarily and I backed out. Its not that its not possible, it just is quite stupid. Why do the Yakuza, if you don't have a f*cking clue about any of there ethics ? Then again I don't dislike the movie becuase of its plot but becuase its terribly acted and the diologue is that of a 10 year old. If the producer just looked a little more for some half decent writers then it would be alot better. While there looking for those aswell maybe they could hire afew good actors My Aspiration is to be a director and it explains why these types of effortless movies annoy me. There are 100's of independent films with about 5 times less budget and about 50 times better in qualiy all round yet they get unnoticed and out watched by these "movies". anyway enough stupid ranting from me. I hope Vinnie does well in this cause he has acted like crap recently, in Babalon AD he was more wooden then my local forest.

dre91
I expect to see some good action here You make me laugh good to know. Anyway, what I meant was that pretty much all action movies are the same to me. I mean, we watch them for fun, but if you were to look at them from the aspect of whether their scenes are realistic or not, or whether the dialougue is well written, you'll probably be dissapointed... So, like I said, some action, shooting, cars, babes...should be fun and enough to fulfill my expectations from an action movie, I hope.
DeeperRed
So, like I said, some action, shooting, cars, babes...should be fun and enough to fulfill my expectations from an action movie, I hope. I respect your opinion and everything But A film can have all thoses mentioned above and still be well written, directed, acted etc. This is what these films do, they make people assume action movies to be badly made hence letting the badly crafted pieces to get away with no effort. I would argue with you of that if the film was brilliently directed then it would be worth watching as sometimes amazing visuals captivate you enough but judging from the first 3 I have no hopes at all. The direction is meh, theres nothing redeming about it. RocknRolla is a classic case of this, the story its self is meh. The acting is pretty good and the diologue was pretty good but what made the film was the enthrawling visuals. It made it an amazing experiance in my opinion. But ofcourse this just my opinion and like I said before hope you TFTF fans have a blast with this

Capricornus
I think I am going to check this one out. I was okay with the first 3, only thing I didn't like about the 3rd one was the lead character, and Han dying. The first one was great (IMHO), the 2nd was was pretty decent. Good to see the old cast back. Something tells me that Michelle's character will die in this one.

Dunpeal
I have to laugh at everyone taking the First three movies so seriously. F&F1: Every c*nts dream of being the top dog illegal street racer was met with some action, some chicks, Crazy ass cars and some Cliche lines. We all watched it and all wanted to go out there and drive down the closest 400m strip we could find as quickly as we could. 2F2F: A sad attempt at a Franchise. But ideally the same as No.1. Cars, Action, chicks, Cliche lines. The lines were worse and the acting even more so, But we all wanted our 400m strip with some corners now. F&F TD: Read Above and add a bad teen story. Now we want our strip with corners, but to drive the whole thing with our cars sideways. I feel that with this 4th installment they are taking a turn for the better and i for one will prob go see it at the cinema.
