hi

're just spinning gta iv totally with me, I do not understand why I had a few tweaks I have removed but still had this bug ... thought maybe it is up to the other tweak of the "visual settings" I changed back to standard purely done and yet still can give me a help? I will upload a video takes a little bit, details: no roads (barely), only niko passers autos, light, water, bridge. I also nvidea the latest drivers installed and downloaded thought what it takes but unfortunately it was not exactly so.

What?

One minute it looks like your posting a fix/tweak, and the next it looks like your asking for a fix/tweak. Which is it?

download a driver sweeper/cleaner program to remove all traces of other drivers.

I run an Nvidia 8800GT, but my system came installed with ATI -

I had the same problem (only worse) when I 1st tried the game - I erased all traces of ATI and any previous Nvidia drivers, then simply reinstalled the latest drivers for Nvidia - haven't had a problem since.

Still unimpressed with the graphics, I upgraded my monitor (which I had been planning on doing, but now had a tangible reason) so I opted for a 32" LCD 720p TV, and run an HDMI cable to my PC and my resolution rocks at a 1300 x 768 and it looks wicked good!

I OC my graphics card a little, the core clock, memory clock, and shader clock, and I up the fan speed to 100% - I also run a program called "AMD Fusion" which turns off a majority of background programs - I run the advanced profile for GTA since an internet connection is needed, but I run an expert profile on games that don't call for a connection - nice difference, and real easy.

Nvidia has another driver update too not mentioned on the Rockstar site...FYI...181.something
