You will be talking 100ms in fps games which make it un-playable. Plus who in there right mind would use up all there cap for about 10 hours of game time. HAHA AMericans has a CAP on the broadband, ROFL.. Live in the EU or Sweden and get 100/100mbit fiber with 0 caps.. stop spending all money on donuts! I think thats a bit rude and uncalled for, I live in Canada so it doesn't offend me. But seriously, I think he means ISP bandwidth limit. If Sweden has no bandwidth limit on any of their ISPs then wow, that's great. But for other parts of the world its not like that. I tell my isp to get lost when I go over bandwidth limit or ill switch ISPs and they never complained again. So im not having a problem with that, I just simply hate the Onlive idea. Onlive is a ok idea for some. But honestly its crap to me, I want my game on my pc. I don't want to have to connect to some crappy PC farm halfway across the continent. You know, Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world according to LAND MASS. Only Russia is bigger. And Canadians don't really eat donuts much if at all, well at least were I live. Here the equivalent of a donut order for most people would be a whole wheat baggle with some low fat cream cheese. Even though OnLive is *just* another option. When it starts selling, and they realize there is little to no (if any) piracy on it. Then game company's may eventually think, hey lets make it onlive or via internet only. Then it will drop piracy rates for that game quite a bit. All you need is 1 stupid Project Manager and 1 stupid idea to destroy a game company. Just like Securom did, they come in with their big chart, and say, we totaled all downloads on pirated games and that was a loss of $XXXXXX you could have had, Securom will get you that money back*. *(Small Print): Chances of Securom actually stopping piracy is 0.0000001% and considered impossible. Statistics are such BS. Its like on the news when they go to the most drugged out kid at a school and ask him, have you done Crystal Meth, and the kid says yes, and then they ask some normal kid and he says no. And then they say on the news 1/2 kids have done Crystal Meth. Like lol its ridicolous. I can do that too, 1 in every 2 kids will at some point in their life steal something from their friends, family, or company (oh whoops i actually took a extra ketchup packet from a fast food place). This means that 50% of the future generation will be criminals that steal. See what i mean, half those piracy estimations/statistics are probably void. They eat bears and sh*t. Everyone knows that. So lets get back on track shall we... Pirates are not the problem... DRM is the problem. I think I might have said this many times before... but I'll say it again... I have bought a lot of games; I even bought GTA4; I had some problems with it; but I had more problems with the DRM. As a buyer I want customer satisfaction; and to get this; the producer of that product must obide by my wishes. But this is not the case... the producer is being a complete a**hole... and therefore I get a product that I don't enjoy. Used car salesmen and computer game developers seem to be operating on the same wavelength. But wouldn't it be a perfect world for PC gamers if they actually gave a sh*t about their product; produced it for PC first... (as they always did in the past)... and also supported the modding community. Now don't get me wrong... I'm a f*cktard... I would not know the first thing about modding or texturing, or anything like that... but I do like to download player modifications for the games that I have PAYED GOOD MONEY FOR. We've all payed good money for something that has bought us a mountain of strife. Isn't it time that we find some way to take appropriate action against these bastards? your thoughts? Yeah Pirates are Good in copying. But Pirating a GTA4 is well.. too complicated. I installed it.. but i cant verify it. I have to CRACk it. Use a fake SEcuRom thing which labels SUCK U! ROM I played the game perfectly at first.. but really i think GTA4 have this Security Features that are around in the Gameplay, there is this Annoying SOund that just come out of nowhere and Cars sometimes burn. Internet shops and PC dont work.. Well one day i went to this MALL in MAnila.. MALL of ASIa (3rd largest MALL) im so HAPPY TO SEE A ORIGINAL COPY OF GTA4!!! at last! a Legitimate Merchandiser of Games. it cost only PESOS 1500 or $31 thats Cheap.. for a PC Game as Big as GTA4 SO IM A GOOD GUY NOW EH.... It's games like this is why ppl don't want to pay $50 bucks for a game not worth the 50cent bin ant a truck stop ghetto mart. Now to be fair people pirate because they can or don't wanna pay the price of the product, not an excuse. Games that are made that just totally suck a$$, As in Spider man 2 for PS2 and PC On the PS2 its just like GTA in the aspect of you see it you can go to it, the PC version was like You see it you cant get somewhat close and look at it...kinda, Basicly it's like GTA you see the Statue of Liberty? wanna take a boat or swim to it? Okay well you can. In Spider man 2 for PC its, See that Statue of Liberty? wanna go to it and crawl up it?...... Well NO YOU CANT HAHA! But in the PS2 Version guess what .. you can! I am tired of paying $50+ bucks for a Sh!ty port or a dumbed down game. I still buy games how ever, But the PC gaming market will never die do to being able to have better graphics/conrtrols/mods ect. Also Yes GTA IV is getting better with these patchs but the game is still not worth the $50 I payed for it... Hell it's not worth being Pirated imho. Let the flamers flame!
