dre91
Brotherhood is an American television drama series created by Blake Masters. Produced and almost entirely written by Masters and Henry Bromell, the series is broadcast by the premium cable network Showtime in the United States. Brotherhood premiered on July 9, 2006 and ended its third season on December 21, 2008. Set and produced in Providence, Rhode Island, the series revolves around the Irish-American Caffee brothers and their friends, family and colleagues. Tommy Caffee (Jason Clarke) is a local politician; Michael Caffee (Jason Isaacs) is a professional criminal involved with New England's Irish Mob. Brotherhood has received critical acclaim—with critics particularly praising Masters and Bromell's dark, complex writing and the central performances of Clarke and Isaacs—but has not attracted a large audience. The show has won a Peabody Award.] So, does anyone here watch this TV show? I've watched the entire first season and I've become a fan of the show. It's a crime drama about Irish organised crime in Providence. I assume that anyone who's a fan of the Sopranos or other thrillers and gangster films would find this interesting but I'd also recommend it to pretty much everyone. Hate to see that the number of episodes in each season keeps falling though probably due to the fact that it didn't attract the desired amount of audience...The first season had 11 episodes, 2nd 10 and the third only 8. Nevertheless, I still think the series is very well done. Edited January 19, 2009 by dre91
Sorkenlol
Yeah it's a great series, nothing compared to Sopranos though.
