Shaqz
Well i'm on the last mission of IV and I'll be honest with you.. all I know is GTA that's because I'm not really a gamer but enjoy GTA games a lot! the only reason I bought my 360 was specifically to play GTA IV! can anyone recommend me and games that are like gta Ive tried saints row (the first one) and that cant even compare. Rebel
First off, you have to realise no game is going to be exactly like IV. You might want to try out Saints Row 2, even if you didn't like the first I'd try the second ( rent it ) uh, there's also a game called Just Cause. Personally I didn't like it and regret buying it so you might want to rent that as well. You could try Bully, although its kind of like IV its made by R* as well. Vanilla Shake
Well, GTA IV is realistic in some ways. If you liked GTA IV, you might like Saints Row 2, but it's a lot more unrealistic than IV and personally I didn't like it, so I still play GTA IV to this day. That's really all I can think of. killerkid
You could try the older GTAs like 3, VC and SA if you haven't already played them.
RATEDR307
The Godfather II is coming out next month and that is also somewhat similar to GTA IV.
Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
There's really nothing else like IV on the 360. All I could suggest would be Mafia, but that's a PS2 title and a little dated.
JKidd
Try out Mafia for the pc it's got an epic story and the missions are alot of fun. Then there is also Godfather for the 360, it's a decent game.

If you gonna play Mafia 1 I suggest the PC version.
Nitty Don
you can download SA from xbox live now for about 1200 ms points, probably the closest game to IV, although its a big step back graphics wise
Omnia sunt Communia
Mercenaries 2 has similar gameplay, but a completely different setting. Think GTA IV in a warzone. That might be something to consider.
Gouveia
Mercenaries 2 has similar gameplay, but a completely different setting. Think GTA IV in a warzone. That might be something to consider. Also, everything's destroyable, wich is awesome when you can drop a nuke ingame. Well, I'm gonna tell one thing. I enjoyed GTAIV and I love games that give you a open world experience, but with different settings. I would recommend you Dead Rising, wich is a open-world (well, it's only a mall) zombie game and it's very good, you can find it for low prices. Also, Test Drive Unlimited. You can get a little overwhelmed, but it's a open-world racing game in Hawaii. You gotta check Fallout 3 out too.
IceWolf729
As others mentioned above, try the older GTAs, Mafia 1 (soon, Mafia 2 will be here), Scarface: The World is yours, Test Drive Unlimited and, if you're into a great mix of Far Cry, GTA and Deus Ex, try Boiling Point: Road to Hell (just make sure it's patched to v2.0, otherwise it's really buggy; nonetheless, a great game ) and White Gold. These are not as well known, but they are great, too, IMO .
Creed Bratton
Mafia, Scarface, Godfather, Assassins Creed and Oblivion (only in medieval period), Bully, Just Cause, Driver Parallel Lines, Saints Row 2... These are all free roaming games I would recommend: Scarface Godfather Bully In that order Edited January 19, 2009 by GTAvanja
DemonKing
Well depends on whether you're looking for specific games or sandbox style. If so hold out for Just Cause 2, Red Faction Guerilla, Infamous etc Some good ones out now are Fallout 3 Saints row 2 (Ok, I'd rather rent it) Mafia etc Bearing in mind these are sandbox style, not like GTA
