NiSsAn_BoY
it would have been better if u would of got a 8800gt its just like a 9500gt but less power supply
TruXter
I have a 9500, it runs the game, but it forces my processor to carry alot of the weight. I have a 5600 amd 2.9g x2 processor and it runs at almost 90% . so if you have a better processor you might see better fps than me. you just have to really work on tweaking the game. Good Luck Have Fun.

dirty-dog
it would have been better if u would of got a 8800gt its just like a 9500gt but less power supply Totally inaccurate - the 8800GT uses a lot more power than a 9500GT. It is miles faster of course. The 9500GT is not actually a significant upgrade over a 7600GT so I would personally save up until he can afford a better card. And a better PSU to power it as well. Crazy Asian
For current gaming systems MINIMUM PSU is 650watts. False. I get around just fine with my 550W PSU and a friend of mine gets along just fine with a 520W PSU and his PC is about the same as mine; he has a higher end CPU than I do, that's about it. dirty-dog
Mine is a 450w and is fine for the spec in my sig. Not all PSUs are made equal and you can't go by the headline wattage anyway. My Corsair VX450w has 33a on the 12v line which is more than a lot of higher headline wattage PSUs provide.
anus
9500GT eh? You seem to be in the US so I checked the PC World site for the card's price. The cheapest card is priced at $72.31. For $99.99 you could get this HD4830 which destroys the 9500GT AND the 8800GT/9600GT. If you cannot spend more, go for this card. This too beats the 9500GT by a LOT and is only five bucks more expensive. Totally worth it IMO. But you will have to get atleast a 450W PSU to power the HD3850. Oh and BTW, I too have a 450W PSU with 33A on the 12V rails and my PC runs absolutely fine. I'm sure its only using about 1/4th of that 450W though. Edited January 19, 2009 by Warlord. I have an Intel Q9450 and 8GB of DDR2-1066. Now add the GeForce GTX260, my harddrives and DVDs plus my x-Fi audiocard. And my 480W Tagan PSU is doing the job very well and surle more stable than any 650W no-name PSU.
