jcrew3002 Posted January 18, 2009 Share Posted January 18, 2009 i want to modify the camera for the vehicles in GTA IV (4) because the camera in the game is hard to follow. when i do a hard turn left or right the camera doesnt turn with the car as quickly as it does in most other games (Grand Turismo, Driver, Driver 2, Flatout, Nascar Racing season, Project Gotham Racing) etc. i want the camera to be more static. for example, when i make a hard right turn i would like the camera to follow the trunk of my car closely, i think rockstar created the camera to follow the direction of current travel more closely, as it is right now when i do a hard right turn the camera seems to follow the direction of travel more closely. so if im sliding sideways at a high rate of speed i will see the side of the car because the car is still traveling in the direction that the camera is trained to follow. is there a camera file that i can tweak? if so how would i go about tweaking the camera just for the vehicles??
