in the main storyline Johnny has got a very distinguishing tattoo on his neck and face but if you look at any screenshots for the new lost and damned he don't have any I wonder if this will mean we will get tattoo studios within the game allowing more customisation.

That's a very good point, well noticed. Perhaps Johnny gets the tattoo during the course of TLAD? Including tattoo studios would make sense, as bikers are generally known for their plethora of tattoos. Not to mention the fact that there are several stores already located around Liberty.

 

We already know that Chinatown Wars will feature a tattooing mini-game. Maybe they wanted to include something similar in TLAD? The only problem is, if they allow Johnny to be that customizable, how will they explain his altered appearance in GTA IV?

Another alternative could simply be that Rockstar forgot to add the tattoo when creating Johnny's skin (I'm guessing they created a new skin for Johnny for TLAD).

Does he have the tattoo during "Museum Piece" as well? And can you get a screenshot of him without the tattoo, please?

It might just be story related, like he gets it sometime during the story and that's it.

Or maybe (a BIG maybe...to be honest i don't really think it will happen) we can get tattoo's but only on the arms and torso, and the neck tattoo we can't remove or change.

 

I don't know, we'll just have to wait and see. Not that long to go now

Have to question whether Rockstar would forget this, rather important, detail - or whether it is a nod towards the timeline where this DLC takes place.
