Magic_Al Posted September 12, 2009 Share Posted September 12, 2009 Has anybody looked to see if Hercules is in Chinatown Wars? There's a chance that map is a little newer than TLAD's. If not, it could be interesting to see if the PSP and iPhone versions of CW are updated to include building appearance changes between IV and the episodes. The possibility the nightclubs close at the end of TBOGT means there's no inconsistency not being in CW though. Maisonette 9, I think it's a reasonable bet it will look like Bungalow 9, but since Hercules appeared out of nowhere, good luck finding the building that will become Maisonette 9. There's probably more than one building that front could be put on. I think Step 3 is happening before our eyes. Step 1 is designing the city. Step 2 is writing the story. Step 3 is editing already-designed buildings to fit the story, like building movie sets in a real city. They have a city first and then they work with it. They got to Step 3 with the Lost clubhouse (rough draft) before we ever saw Liberty City, but Step 3 for TBOGT locations got kicked down the schedule. I dunno, maybe R* read this thread back in JANUARY when I first started it and decided to keep it a secret just to break my balls. I must have spent 50+ hrs wandering the streets of Liberty City looking for clues, nada! Who Knows? It may even get its own character trailer. Whatever, I`m just so surprised that after all this time only a handful of forum members have had a guess at where it could be located. Looking at the locations people have chosen so far, and knowing South Algonquin as I do, there`s still a ton of locations that are prime candidates to be Maisonette 9 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It it wasn't for it's little 'no vacancy' sign you would easily pass it walking by. So I would expect M9 to be similar, so don't so looking for any marble arches and gold plated window frames. JOSEPH X Posted October 2, 2009 Author Share Posted October 2, 2009 My heart sank when I saw Maisonette 9 on the Henrique trailer, I was going to say, "I knew it was there!" because it`s true - I knew it was there. It seems like an eternity since I started this thread on Jan 18th, I posted it just after I`d looked up Tony Prince in the LCPD database and my original thought was that it would be where Johnny gets the diamonds from in TLAD. It was really frustrating when that episode came out and nobody was any the wiser as to where it was, especially after trailing Evan Moss slowly round Algonquin for two full day/night cycles hoping he`d go back there after "Diamonds in the Rough" and listening to every ped conversation in the meat quarter and even knocking over the dustbins looking for clues. This morning tho, I searched the forums for the old "The Second Episode" thread to have a look what had been posted there about M9. Worth reading that thred again, lots of good speculation and you can access the whole thread if you click on the link below. Check out the fifth post down (unedited btw) and there`s a detailed description and snap-map of where I thought Maisonette 9 was. The Second Episode See - I knew it was there!
